This Hundred is really shiteeee, I hope it totally bombs. If split into city's who decided Southampton and Cardiff, both smaller places than Bristol, should be represented? Cardiff will get less support than Glamorgan (already one of the worst supported counties) on a like for like basis because the latter was acceptable as the South Wales team whereas no one from say Swansea is going to watch Cardiff. In fact the absolute only place in the country that could increase their support is Bristol, due to the current split of Bristolian and surrounding area support between Glos and Somerset.

Taking lunch when play has only just restarted, the blatantly unfair system where teams play some twice and others once, finishing up early when there are many many overs left. If Glamorgan don’t win tomorrow and assuming Northants do then that’s it I think? Otherwise it looks like we’ll be 16 points ahead of Glamorgan. They would need to beat Durham away and realistically Glos would have to lose v Northants. A draw and 4 bonus points for Glos would be enough.

Could be all but over in the Division Two promotion race by the end of this round, looking at the current scores: Gloucs to beat Worcs, 85 needed with 8 wickets left. Northants to beat Durham, currently 305 ahead in their second innings with 4 wickets left. Sussex to not win against Derbys, the latter of whom are 217 ahead in the second innings with only one wicket down. Then we'll be about 20 points clear of 4th, I think?
