As much as I would like Alex to stay with us for another season, living in Brighton it would be perfect for him to come here but I do know people and players at the club and they have all said they no nothing about him joining. Not saying its not true of course as Brighton are like City in transfer deals in keeping things quiet but they know nothing about a potential deal..

I like Ippo, a good friend of mine is an Ippo fan so that sways me a bit. I have no problem with them and the Ashton thing has been done to death on here. I told him that Ashton was given far too much control here and that was part of the problem and watch him if he has a free run with financial control. He is talking about play offs next year already, just promoted so give him his dreams, but its a massive gulf now between league 1 and the championship, saying that, I wish them (except MA) well next season.

I was at the Brighton game today and didn't think he was all that, in fact Bournemouth were pretty poor with 8 behind the ball and waiting for the counter. His first touch was poor and he should have set the other player up after his run but all round looked fairly average..
