I’ve never understood this one… I think he is in the top 5 at the club for important players and he is on 14k apparently, which is less than wells, weinman James kalas etc and not that high for a quality championship keeper. Something has always smelt not quite right with him coming out of the team and almost forcing him out… I’m thinking there is a clause in his contract giving him a substantial pay rise after a certain number of games … that is the only thing that would make sense of this situ

He’s off in January. Get over him. If we play him and he gets injured then whatever interest/agreement is in place goes… and we have to pay him 200k in wages until the end of his contract

Or
O’Leary
tanner. King. Naysmith. Pring
James. Williams
Scott
weinman. Conway. Wells.

It’s just typical of todays world People ignore the rules Yes it was only running into a pitch but we saw what happened in the euros final at Wembley. People just think they can do what they want and it’s mostly young/mid age adults so the kids will only get worse
cringey and embarrassing

Why would he join City. Unless he is losing his sanity. Nothing that has happened or will probably happen would attract someone who has been in the Premier League. And Lansdown wouldn't pay the necessary money to get him. He is leaving it all to Pearson and Gould and his son and showing little interest in what is happening and our slide in to league 1.
You started so well then ended with a comment based on what ? Of course he cares , it’s his business but he pays others to manage the day to day running of it. What would you rather… that or a madcap owner that bumbles into the dressing room demanding that the manager plays certain players

And we sat back. Period. We tackled and battled, protecting Bentley against an average Forest side.
we hardly kept possession. The stats backs that up. We were at home and sat back hoping to hit on a break AGAINIt’s what happens when the confidence isn’t there. It’s like a boxer being afraid to take a punch, they naturally retreat and cover up then get their ass kicked. It’s all about mental strength

We sat back against an average side. Yeah brilliant. For the majority we defended solidly.
We were at HOME!
No, we attacked more than we have done in the last 10 home games … Scott missed an open goal and we should have had a pen. We could have won that 3-0 We haven’t looked like winning 3-0 at home for bloody ages so for me we played well Forest have won the last 3 so they are hardly mugs. Tonight is really frustrating but I’ve seen a lot of positives over the 90 mins

I thought we played well tonight. We won nearly every long ball header and managed to pick up the second balls well. We Finally played a formation that suits. I would have made the same subs, odowda to stretch the defence with his fresh legs was the right thing to do. Massengo should have called for the pass but baker panicked and lumped it out and the rest is history. Baker had to attempt a challenge but it was a tired poor one We are just mentally weak

Missing Fielding? That’s a matter of opinion I suppose. I like the new keeper and as others have said without Flint his willingness to come for a cross will help us right out.
I prefer this keeper as well. My point was about new players bedding in

Imagine how well we could have done if he had picked a decent side.
Fair play we got a result but it's still a concerning start to the season.
He picked a side he thought would win them the game and they did
of course it’s worrying, we’ve got 5 new players that need to bed in and we are missing fielding, baker, smith, Diedhiou amongst others , all this on top of losing 3 quality players it’s bound to be a struggle for a while

Pisano must have looked like Maldini and Taylor imitated Ronaldo up at Failand for them to get picked after their last few performances.
At some point you have to stop making excuses for continual, obvious mistakes and acknowledge he's getting it wrong.
This is a stupid selection and the performance is proving it, there were better choices and they were very clear.
Ummmm not so much of a stupid selection. As I said he picked the best he had so why would I acknowledge that he is getting it wrong
o and a clean sheet. Not a bad shout playing Pisano and Kelly where he did

Da Silva the loanee is a left back.
Mind you that Taylor is alright...
He is a kid. When he settles in he will be a good player but to play him alongside a very young left back playing centrehalf is stupid so like I said.... I think LJ got it right IMO.

To be fair. Pisano is doing ok and Kelly gives us more going forward and looked slightly out of his depth on Saturday at CH so imo he has got it right or shall I say I can’t see many other options at the back

I can't imagine what LJ's been smoking with that lineup but it must have been grown under some intense UV lights.
Hasn't he learned anything from the previous games?
And who's the luddite running the twitter feed who can't figure out how to use an iphone without sticking random characters in and getting hashtags wrong and has no idea how to give us team news with players in a sensible order?
Honestly this season is pissing me off already.
You were at Failand yesterday then were you to see who trained well Also if everyone was available to LJ then it’s possible there would be 6 or 7 changes to this line up He hasn’t got a lot of choice at the mo

Great stuff
LJ lost the plot jb right back. No one can cross blah blah blah
and then this happens. This is why I get annoyed at idiotic comments on here BEFORE a game

I like it that he changes things when we don’t play well. So many managers over the years stick with the same O and joe Bryan can cross as can Brownhill

A horse doing 90 is worthy of a victory .
The big question is ,
Should we be concerned that our form has plummeted since the beginning of the year ?
Invariably, form will go up and down over the season. We struggled after the cup run and adrenaline saw us through some tough games. I believe the late wolves winner and we controlled the game was like a massive punch in the stomach
ill use a boxing analogy, if a fighter is in control but then gets hurt and put down they usually struggle to regain momentum and they end up just trying to survive each round It’s not too dissimilar to us after the wolves result
to be in and around the top 6 all season and a long successful cup run is s massive achievement and we have punched above our weight whilst struggling with injuries so no it’s not a worry for me We just need to regain momentum
personally id go back to a back 3 with Pisano and Bryan as WBs We looked more solid than we do now In all fairness Barnsley could have scored 5 or 6 today

Please , please , please , for pity's sake , of course we would but we were second at one stage and have been in the top six for most of the season but are you saying that we should all be happy as we slowly sink down the League ?
Unless something changes dramatically , which it must , we will struggle next season.
I watched a horse race today
A horse rated at 90 was out in front after a mile , he tired toward the end and 5 horses all passed him and they were all higher rated horses . At the start of the race the 90 rated horse was 7th in the betting so overall his trainer said he did well and he knew he wasn’t quite good enough to be able to keep the pace
if we finish 7th or 8th that will be a good season and it’s looking like the clubs above us are bigger clubs that pay bigger wages etc and we will also finish above bigger clubs so we have over achieved this season. I don’t care if we were 2nd at some point it doesn’t mean a thing

We have changed formation with only a day or so to prepare. Set piece defending was always going to be shaky. Nice to see us having a go
What is everyone's manager choice if/when Nige leaves?

During the recruitment stage , the last 2 times, 2 of the board wanted mark robins but he has signed a contract with cov so it could be Michael Beale who was brilliant at qpr or the Plymouth manager who has also done a cracking job if you forget the game against us at the gate
