  1. I'd love to thank all of those that have offered the code on this topic and on message. I managed to get my tickets yesterday and I have a very very excited 11yr old daughter who's absolutely buzzing for her first match at Ashton Gate. Thanks again guys and girls.

  2. On August Bank Holiday (28th) Cadbury Heath Fc will be hosting a memorial game at 3pm in memory and celebration of thier late president Terry Mitchell who was a stalwart for many many years and who sadly passed away recently. A cadbury heath legends team will be pitting their wits against a team made up of former city and rovers legends who will be managed by Terry's son in law, Mr Ian Holloway (booo hiss!) More details to follow.

Previous episode is actually worth a listen just for the 1 minute where they mention Kalas before the pulis interview

  4. Worth noting on the Western L1 allocations, Cadbury Heath took voluntary relegation. I am told that  it seemed to make much more financial sense to drop a league and cut travel expenses considerably than it did to stay in the Prem, for prides sake, and face another season of crippling costs due to travelling so far south on a regular basis.

  5. There seems to be a lot of people using "chipped" firesticks atm. My (a friends) question is.. is it worth paying the monthly fee for iptv? or  is it just as good paying a  one off charge (circa £50.00) to jailbreak a firestick?.

  6. Am I correct in thinking that if you get arrested for one offence but then after being arrested for that original offence you get found in possession of a class A drug then you get rearrested for the second charge of possession?

It just that (according to BBC) There were more more than  140 arrests for drug offences at matches last year. Which appears to be quite a low percentage of footballing going folk considering more than 15 million spectators attended the premier league alone last year.  There is clearly a national issue with drug taking but I can't see it being policed successfully enough using laws that re already in place so I look at the new threat of banning orders making little or no difference.  Hope I'm wrong.

  7. This just goes to show the importance of supporting your local club, if you want to keep grass roots football alive.

Clubs like Bitton depend heavily on a handful of individuals who dig deep to keep their beloved club afloat, and these people should be applauded  however without us  fans actually paying an entrance fee, enjoying a pint or scoffing a pie, then one by one these clubs will simply slide down the pyramid and sadly we will inevitably lose a few along the way.

If you have ever enjoyed a match at your local club then I strongly urge you to pop along again, and pay the five or six quid to be entertained, chuck a couple of quid in the raffle bucket and buy a pint or three. You can have a great Saturday afternoon (or midweek night) for a lot less than you might think plus it keeps the local scene alive. I for one cant go to Reading this weekend so I will be heading to Cadbury Heath FC for my football fix

Not postponed, it's illegal to strike whilst country is in mourning,

Really? is this actually a fact?

It has been widely reported that the 2 high profile strikes, that were planned, were subsequently cancelled out of respect to her majesty. No mention of any laws being broken due to the period of mourning.
