Just how desperate are they for this guy to be or seen to be "rich".........
That article is probably the most embarrassing thing I've seen from that paper. Rich man buys club, man denies being super rich, club loving paper ignores man and still states he's super rich and back it up with pictures of his watch.

Just strikes me that a lot of City fans are obsessed with/worried about the gap closing now.

Are they meant to be pissing? There's no piss on the floor? The more logical explanation is that "has heads" like to come and admire our stadium after watching their team play. Look like groupies that have been locked out.

Board out! Am I first to say it?

Also said over 3000 city fans.

radio swindon (I'm in Wiltshire not at game) saying Elliot flicked his head backwards in the direction of the swindon player and that means it's a stonewall red card even though he said there was no contact. Inbreds.

Chesterfield tactics. Dare say a lot more teams will try this as the season goes on.

So happy about that. Horrible cheating barstewards.

Agree his delivery is much better. Disagree that we'd miss his height in the box. For a big guy he's bleeding woeful in the air!
Keep him taking the corners, for sure.
Frustrating isn't it. Hes got everything to be an amazing target man: Strength, height, pace, great shot and vision. But he's useless in the air.

Brentford fans on another forum said if we tried to play passing from the back we'll quickly come unstuck due to the state of the pitch. Going for a more direct physical approach to this game is logical. It doesn't mean this will be the way we play from now on. Nice to be able to mix it up in different conditions.

A 6ft 3in heaver up-front would be in keeping with SCs "Land of the Giants" reputation that he had at Cheltenham. If he also signed 6ft Myrie Williams then I assume he would not play Joe or Bobby very often. That would seem to run counter to at least one of the five pillars. I, for one, think that Bobby and Joe are two of our best players and the only local lads in the team. If we don't push these two talents then why bother with an academy?
Yes because Myrie-Williams is known for his physical, tough man style of football
It can also clearly be seen since Cotterils appontment that he has been looking for a way to NOT play Reid and Bryan or Burns for that matter
