  1. I love George Tanner. If I was the type to get a player's name on the back of the shirt, then he'd be in the reckoning. Wholehearted commitment, brilliant one on one defending, getting better going forwards and you can guarantee he's giving absolutely everything. Improving game by game, didn't cost much, no ego. The kind of player you want at your club when you want everyone to be giving their all for the badge. Forza George Tanner. Forza East Enders (might have had an ale or 6).

  2. As per the discussion earlier in the thread we've been having exactly the same issue with transferring an adult ticket in the family stand. The same happened when my adult friends tried renewing...we're all there as a group but because I didn't pay for all of the group at the same time they couldn't renew. We phoned supporter services, sorted it, renewed, accounts are all linked together yet now can't forward the ticket for one match due to the "junior" issue mentioned earlier (even though we should be linked as a group). It's never as easy as it should be and I guess I'll have to spend ages holding to speak to someone to explain tomorrow. Imagine there will be a whole host of people trying to get through.

Trying to buy Oxford tickets was also not a simple process because the website kept having issues. Love the club but why is nothing ever easy?! With other businesses you'd walk away!!

Your nephew will need to have a supporter ID number but you should be able to add multiple tickets to your wallet.

Thanks. He had a season ticket last year and is set up on my friends and family. I already have my daughter's season ticket set up on my wallet. I guess I'll just need to make sure he appears on my friend's list of friends/family and then figure out how I access his account to download it?!

  4. Is anyone confident that they have the answer to this question?! I have a season ticket already downloaded to Google wallet. My friend who sits by us cannot go on Saturday (Moto GP instead... shocking excuse!). He's kindly letting my nephew use his ticket. Can he share with me to add the ticket to my 'wallet' or because I already have a season ticket associated with my profile it would need to be under my nephew's profile?! I'm not sure my nephew will have Google wallet on his phone (he's 11!).

Quick get the season ticket news out so people forget about the yellow kit!!

Also free kit for kids says outfield kit. Does this mean they can pick home/away/3rd?

    13. I have an Under-12 Season Ticket in my group, how do I claim the free outfield replica shirt?

Under-12 Season Ticket holders will be able to choose their free outfield junior replica shirt from a choice of the 2023/24 home, away and third shirts. We will communicate to all 2023/24 Under-12 Season Ticket holders at a later date, once all three shirts have been launched and are available to purchase

FAQs says the above. Great news for my daughter who always wants one of the away kits. Well.....it's great news if the away kit is much better than the third kit!!!

  6. Has anyone seen Omar Taylor Clarke play (apart from the poster above)? To me it seems like he's one of the players Pearson wanted to keep around to make up numbers in training and who would benefit from training more with the first team squad or we couldn't secure a suitable league loan for him. You'd think the likes of Kadji and Owers would be ahead of him in the reckoning if they were not out on loan. Our centre back situation is the same-Low would probably be the next one on the bench.

I guess now is as good a time as any to give Omar some minutes on the pitch with us inching ever closer to safety, although possibly from the bench if Pearson thinks it would be better to play a more experienced player out of position.

It was pretty evident that this would happen at some point with our limited options in central midfield and defence and injury prone players such as Williams, James and Kalas. Good job we're not right in the heart of the relegation battle.

James has been fantastic recently so I really pray that the cloggers at Huddersfield haven't ended the majority of his season.

Attack is definitely our best/only form of defence at the moment with our array of options up top and dearth of options in defensive positions.

Their line up: Andy Fisher; Joel Latibeaudiere, Nathan Wood, Ben Cabango, Kyle Naughton; Matt Grimes (captain), Olivier Ntcham, Luke Cundle; Cameron Congreve, Matt Sorinola, Joel Piroe.
Substitutes: Steven Benda, Ryan Manning, Jay Fulton, Harry Darling, Joe Allen, Liam Cullen, Ollie Cooper, Lincoln McFayden, Joel Cotterill.

It looks like Swansea are starting only 4 of the players that started in their last league match against Sunderland. Great opportunity to progress in the cup, earn some money and hopefully add a bit of excitement to our season if we can pull away from the relegation battle in coming weeks. I just pray we come away tonight without any injuries.

  8. I posted this song in the other Cameron Pring thread on Saturday which is sung to the Robin Hood tune/similar to the old Ryan Giggs one:

Cameron Pring, Cameron Pring running down the wing. Cameron Pring Cameron Pring running down the wing. Feared by the Gas/Welsh, loved by the reds, Cameron Pring, Cameron Pring, Cameron Pring.

Pring rhyming with wing makes it a winner?!

  10. Does anyone know when Sky are likely to confirm TV selections? It looks like they have for the opening weekend already but I'm not sure if they've decided beyond that. Sunderland are on TV first weekend so I'm hoping that their next fixture against us isn't moved for TV. Saturday afternoon, first home game, thousands of Mackems. It will be all set up for a great game and big crowd, albeit with some likely to be on holiday.

  11. You'd think he'd be a good option on the bench due to his versatility. He didn't let us down at right back out of position earlier in the season. With Baker now likely to be out for a while and Simpson's better days behind him, Vyner will hopefully be in the squad whenever he's fit.

    Most important question.

At the end of the evening did Richard Gould run around the bar, high fiveing all the City fans?

I went elsewhere at the end of the forum with smaller bar queues. He did laugh at the suggestion that he might do that when we finally get that elusive home win.

You got your Mcinnes fans forum notes anywhere? Would be interested to see them!

That post doesn't appear to be in my posting history. Think I was rather optimistic about the future under Del Boy at that point. Think I did a long transcript of a SL interview too at some point. No time for that level of detail anymore with a young child I'm afraid!

Is this a fact or an opinion?

I've never heard or read this before, especially as away fans leave the ground at the same time as us

I could be wrong but I could have sworn the Quins supporters were all in E34 that evening

Just one of the many excuses that get spun when our singing section is criticised

We all know it is easier for an away crowd to generate more noise at most grounds, lets be honest it won't make any difference where they are put at Ashton Gate

W7-W9 according to this on the Harlequins website. https://www.quins.co.uk/news/gallagher-premiership-semi-final-ticketing-faqs/

Thanks for the write up - doesn't sound like anything of any real substance was discussed.

Personally I don't see a great deal of value in having players there, I was under the impression it was more an event for the management/Gould.

Presumably the players were added to the guest list last minute as Nigel Pearson was unable to attend. Would've been interesting to see how honest and forthright Nigel would be at such an event. Think a lot of the fans would've been preparing to ask him questions (pre covid) and he would've given a good insight into his plans for us to progress over the next three years etc. With Curtis Fleming a relative newbie and not the man in charge it limited how much information was likely to come out from the event. Still a nice positive showing from the club and an effort to be more accessible to the fans.

  16. Great first half. Don't really remember Swansea troubling us at all. We've forced the keeper into making saves  from O Dowda, Weimann and Elliasson. Got to be the best we've seen so far from O Dowda this season so far.

Weimann looking class. Dropping deep, spreading it out wide and then getting back into the box. Our left side has looked really strong. Eliasson has the beating of his man and putting in some very good crosses. Kelly unflustered and has had the better of their winger the whole half. Barely noticed Kalas suggesting that he's not had much to do. The Fin has made some decent claims of crosses. Let's hope the Purple and limes can keep it up second half
