    Reality has struck home! http://gaschat.co.uk/thread/13180/day-out

I had to go to West London today to sort out a personal matter, and I went past Brentfords new ground. They already have the steelwork in place for the main stand and the stand opposite. Yet another club who we used to play on a regular basis moving way ahead of us.

State of that thread. They aren't very bright are they? "We culd build more on da mem!!1" idiots.

Is that the genuine headline? If so I think he will be gone shortly as gas board can’t let a dig at them go in my view.

tbf he is right, the hopes they had when they were taken over are ebbing away and he has had the rug when and truly pulled from his feet in terms of his squad pre season. I think they will be very lucky to stay in league one by the end of the season as it stands.

You're right but why has he even mentioned us? To gain support from the simpletons? Weird quote and he won't be long about unless another lot of asset strippers are buying the racist rovers.

They're now making the capacity at the mem bigger in order to make them feel better.

How are you going to fit 13000 in a stadium that holds 12300 then tomylil?

If what we have on home games is "sanitised corporate" then I for one am a huge fan. The atmosphere is alright where I sit and I can get a pint before and half time easily, meaning my "matchday experience" is far better than what we had before.

If "old skool" experience is what they want then good for them. I love going home games now. I don't fancy having a piss in a hole in the ground or standing in the pissing rain for a £4 sausage roll.

I wouldn't have done it if I worked there as comes across to other clubs as pretty poor, BUT if it gets under their skin then so what! Clarkes "happy days" quote, all the Windass stuff, Wally "paid 300k for something that you could have for nothing in a few months", Wally being carried down Glos Rd, our scores being flashed up etc etc according to many Sags are all legendary stuff. We do the Colin Daniel thing and it is "bang out of order" so I was told!! ?

Buying Colin Daniel a bottle of champagne was also on par of TWICE booking Dean Windass for their dopey tote end Xmas party according to them aswell. Strangest fan base in Britain.

I think you may have somewhat over reacted on this one , it's quite funny, nothing more, nothing less :) If anyone was genuinely upset that 'their woman' or child caught a fleeting glimpse of a scantily clad woman then they should seriously consider moving to a remote island with no access to any kind of nastiness from the outside world.(Cue jokes about nasty football clubs)

The club that brought you boob cricket and Mark Watkins nonetheless.

We don't have a membership scheme as such, just the Supporters Club which isn't everyones cup of tea atm.

Surprising that really considering they steal from their own. Thought the sign ups would of doubled. We all know you love to thieve from eachother.

The interviewers always seem so weak and don't challenge responses so the likes of Hamer get away with saying very little and sound so smug and non-commital. We fans deserve a bit more respect and want some real intent announced so that we can believe the Club are not moving backwards. Oh how long ago it now seems when the Jordanians

Meanwhile the real suspects are content to sit in their air conditioned luxury pads in Jordan and work out how they can rescue or dump the whole project, whilst saving face and continuing to look respectable to their business community.

I doubt they’re that bothered about it to be honest.

They’re getting the land grab sown up and that will be done soon.

Funny how they think they’re showing off a Club to their rich mates that’s followed by a load of racist sex offenders who play in a ground that looks like it’s been taken straight from Mogadishu.

    Weirdos.

Be surprised if he's been hounded out of Portishead. Sounds like another one of Henbury Gas' whoppers to me.

He’s gone from living in a flat in Portishead to living in a house near Congesbury. Hardly been hounded out by them. As you say, Tom, another lie from the blue few.

Wael couldn’t get one at a million. He struggled paying face value though, the gearbox went on his mondeo last week and Christmas is coming round quick.

Perhaps we should invite him down to the Sports Bar to give an after dinner speech and buy him drinks all night.

Oh wait, that would be a totally classless thing to do.

Buying Colin Daniel a bottle of champagne is on par with them TWICE paying Dean Windass to come down and do the divvy tote end Xmas Party though.

    Weird old lot aren’t they?

REALITY BITES!!!!! http://gaschat.co.uk/thread/10842/gas-financial-trouble This thread is on page five of denials after just 12 hours.

Not one to spread rumours, but I understand that rumours are circulating within the Bristol football community that all is not well at the Mem. Sources have told me that Dwayne Sports do not want to spend any money on the club and expect us to make profits. If any of this is true, then I can now understand why we pulled away from the UWE Stadium project. There are also rumours of conflicts within the Al Qadi family regarding the spending of money on Bristol Rovers. Hope none of this is true, but with many asking why Chinese people were at the game with Plymouth on Saturday makes me wonder if the Al Qadi take over has gone sour and the family are now looking at options to pull out! Seems like we are back in a mess, AGAIN!!!!

“Fukin TEDs postin on r forum!!1”. They really are a special breed of divvy aren’t they?

Would be great if that rovers blogger get his dad to stand up and let's us know his thoughts now

Made his self look a right prat

The pair of them aren’t the full shilling to be honest. They just look normal up to their fellow Rovers supporting peers.

Imagine supporting a club in 2017 that doesn't just ignore the fact there are still a small minority who express racist views, and that said club are actually aware of this because their own supporters are calling out the culprits.

Anybody who thinks that their own club is TOTALLY free from racism is burying their heads in the sand.

To be fair though, you've had more racist incidents than league wins so far this season.
