No. They claimed there were 8,542 Gasheads there, ignoring the large Ipswich contingent. Though they tell us the fans of every other club love them so perhaps that's fair enough.
-
A League 1 side that spends £1.5m on a striker but can't score against the Gas. Can't think who to blame.

I'm shocked I tell you shocked! I wonder what his former cheerleader Alan Nixon has to say about this?

Actually no and as this points out the PL handbook prevents clubs from joining a breakaway league. https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/12806794/premier-league-clubs-cant-join-european-super-league-why-plans-have-little-chance-of-succeeding

And there's every chance Chelsea and Liverpool won't qualify for next season's CL. Sporting merit as opposed to a guaranteed place then.

Man City - no, not tickets, but dodgy stuff…as if!!!

Um, they have Arab owners. Antisemitism as a motive seems unlikely somehow. -

Plus, iirc CAS found one charge to be time barred and another not established (much like the not proven verdict available in Scottish law). Not quite not guilty then. -

Actually there was. Bizarrely, Marsch favoured a very narrow approach despite having some very good wide players.

I've certainly seen it alleged that one manager was paid a second, secret, salary off the books. -
Quite, a classic straw man argument.

, No doubt you're right, I was illustrating the victim attitude of their fans. Hence them booing the Champions League anthem. -

Man City can afford the best lawyers. They could drag this out for years. Their fans like to claim they were cleared of the UEFA charges but iirc CAS found one offence to be time barred and another not proven. Not quite the same as not guilty then. -
And to all intents and purposes was working for Ipswich.

De Bruyne doesn't so much pass to a teammate as pass to where the teammate is going to be at the end of his run. Alex did the same there.

I think it depends whether their priority is football, money or the image of the club. My guess is that Ten Hag will want him out but it's not entirely his decision. The dilemma is discussed here: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2023/feb/02/manchester-united-mason-greenwood-huge-decision

Whats does Championship sustainability mean?

@ExiledAjaxhas already covered and been involved in this here: https://www.otib.co.uk/index.php?/topic/219464-bristol-city-ranked-for-sustainability -
They may not be able to tell the time because they spend all their time on Tik Tok.?
-
Given they have just borrowed £20m just to pay the bills and their owner still hasn't paid back the £5m he borrowed from the club I doubt they will be making a bid any time soon!

I read the Guardian piece the other day but thanks for flagging up the detail. Fantastic and worthwhile piece of work. Just another example of the value you add to the forum and well beyond if I may say so.

Potential progress between the PL and the EFL. Though I'm not holding my breath: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2023/jan/27/efl-urges-premier-league-to-halve-financial-gap-with-championship
