On a  hopefully slightly  different  note,  we left Walsall on that bank holiday Monday replay and defeat something to do with the playoffs straight after the game ,  and walked straight into the porterhouse bar nightclub on Prince Street Bristol and Ralph was already sat at the bar  having played in that game ,

 I haven’t bought the Bristol evil post since the front-page headlines and pictures of a dozen convicted crack dealers and a post headline was we are sorry and that was the paper not them being sorry !!! 

I think a lot of teams stadiums and crowds have changed over the years  and are much quieter but  in the 70s you had people in ends who would lead the singing continually.  I see many people in the Lansdown who sit with their arms folded and quiet for 90 minutes unless there’s something on the pitch that sparks them .  The audience has changed now maybe just a sign of the times .  I myself could never sit in silence watching a game of football .

As ever city fans thanks for all the helpfull advice and comments, Just wanted to confirm with the poster by the name of Marcus. You said it happens all the time, so can you tell me that this is a regular occurrence Ashton gate? I've never seen that. I will try and keep you updated when I get replies from the authorities. 

I personally had a major issue with a steward on Saturday. I have contacted qpr and asked them to check CCTV cameras and the incident. I've also sent a complaint to the metropolitan police.

Can any of you supporters Tell me Is it normal practice now for stewards to demand your wallet? And then to rifle through it. Because i've never seen that in attending football in this country and abroad for over  fifty five years.

And when with a fellow city fan witness, we went to a Metropolitan Police officer. His view was if I didn't like it. Don't go in, but after spending 100 pounds on a match ticket and train ticket. That wasn't an option. I have been to this ground many times but we'll never go again. Did anyone else have this experience with the stewards? Could they please let me know so I can inform queens park rangers, Reference my complaint..

When are a lot of you going to wake up, we are and never will go anywhere under sl and jl,  if you  are ok with bottom end of championship or top 8 of league 1 then ok. Because that is  all you may get,  No team has gone up paying peanuts for wages and transfers . And just because he has paid tax bills, built a stadium , going to build a basket ball arena, hotel, car park, new houses in long ashton for his benefit not ours,  dose not mean he can run a football club successfully, and think about all the transfer fees he has took in and spent **** all...On the plus side i won £500 on bet that both us and gas manager sacked with in 1 week of each other....oh plus alot of cider from a gas head in our local last night.....and how come alot of city fans who came back  yesterday already know he was gone...  I recall when hirerite   Sponsored  the city Rovers game think it ended up 3 all,  Free bar,  meal tour of ground etc, I didn’t do the tour,  sat at the back of the William stand only thing was there was a few Rovers fans in with the sponsors ! They soon wised up, Anyway ended up in the boardroom about 8 o’clock at night me Terry Cooper Roger Malone and a chairman might have been Leslie kewe  not too sure . Terry was telling us about the best player he ever tried to Mark, it was George Best. Terry then got pissy with someone because  they had a skinful

So maybe its about time to take a long hard look at  our defence coaches,  if we have any ?  Because clearly there is something wrong here,. This is isnt an overnight thing that we cant tackle mark or defend set pieces, this has been a problem for a few years now.. I think they need to go and get some proper coaching staff in who can do a better job.. They have the players 4 to 5 days a week, just what are they doing with them..  Defending is not rocket science , other clubs manage it, why cant we....We are piss poor at it....

Got to  say very impressed with city today, the best performance in a long time. Well done to all to them....

I think the Lansdown except it because most of you who go home every game except it as well,  so as long as you’re not causing a problem at Ashton gate and venting your frustrations it will continue.
