I'm in my late sixties. The best birthday present I have ever received was on 20th birthday, 28 December 74. 1-0 down at HT became a 4-1 victory.
Yup. Aged 13 my first away derby. Silk scarfs tied to wrists. Howling gale and all 5 goals right in front of me.
Great memories. Miss you dad.- 2

Interesting result for rovers in the Southern league. Did Barry score too many to count or did nobody care?

I’d echo that but you already have.

Not going to stop that one.

VAR would have given handball for that. Would have been harsh but ball hits arm.

I have just tried to login which failed because my email wasn't verified. This is despite the fact it had been working fine. I decided to create a new account and now my date of birth is deemed 'not valid'
Makes you wonder who did the testing of this site?

Does this mean we already promoted if we win
No. I think that only applies to Swindon

Recently met up with old Leicester supporting mate and we were discussing all sorts of things. Got to talking about playoff penalty shootouts and he was reminded of a player for Leicester to attempted a Panenka which failed. That man was a player called Yann Kermorgant
Why am I posting this. We watched this old YouTube song and the City connections kept coming. So as well as having a laugh. Spot the links

Might be wrong but the Hill mentioned in the video I think was Jimmy Hill of MOTD fame.
A quarter final of which cup? -
Seem to remember Sir Geoff Merrick playing at left back after the arrival of Norman Hunter, coupled with Collier and Sweeney that was a quality back four. That said I think Brennan was the best in that LB position. I think he went to Forest for over 1.5M which was quite a lot for a 'lower' league defender in the last century (Christ I'm old)

I believe a man called Payne once scored 10 in a game for Luton. Can’t recall who it was against though.

Cornick did well. Set up Bell when he could have had a highly unlikely go himself. He just needs a goal and I think he’ll start to prove his value

Weinman super ball
Wells unselfish
Mehmeti cool

The research tool for the lazy…. The saving grace is at least McCoist has done some background work.
Didn’t know about our penalty drought though.

Can’t quite work out if Hull are defending well or just being lucky. Quite a few blocks could have gone anywhere

Does anyone who plays FPL know if we have a OTIB league?

They’d give WSM a run for their money. Glad I saw all of them play at the gate. Albeit George was well past his best.

Funnily enough I’m reminded of another when thinking of sags. Plaistow Patrica must be a friend of Irene.
