Probably a joke because Dykes, Conway and Adams aren't actually Scottish...
Well the qualify to play for Scotland, so it's irrelevant really.

Tommy was never getting in ahead of Adams or Dykes and I guess they couldn't have 3 non-Scottish strikers so Shankland got the nod.
Probably more to do with the fact Shankland has scored 27 goals this season...

Palmer has operated more on the right or centrally for Chelsea this season though so don't think playing him out of position for England benefits him. I also don't think you can play all of Bellingham, Foden or Palmer simply because they all like dropping into that number 10 position and we need people running in behind Kane.
I'd be really tempted with Gordon on the left, seriously impressed me this year everytime I've seen him and think his pace with Saka on the other side and Kane to pick them out could be frightening!
Pickford
Walker Stones Maguire Trent (Unsure on Maguire and Trent but struggling to make a case for others)
Rice Bellingham
Saka Foden Gordon
Kane
Lot of good players not picked for that team with the second CB being my concern
Trent isn't the best defensively, playing him outside of position looks a big risk to me.
For me Colwill is one of the most surprising omissions considering how weak we are at left back...

Not automatic, but still got 23 caps in three years.
Totally get the point about professionalism, but Sancho could be a potentially devastating option from the bench against a tiring defence. Dortmund have worked out how to get the best out of him (for the wider benefit of the team); Ten Hag and Southgate haven’t.
He's not really been tearing it up for Dortmund, though slowly getting back to his best.
I'd argue on this season people like Gordon and Bowen deserve a place more so than Sancho.

I know they have a final to play, but Che Adams?

You must be on the windup...

1-1 brilliant goal by Pearce, 46th of season
If City aren’t scouting him, I give up
If he was 21 perhaps but he's 28 so seems unlikely.

Coming from Stoke fans. The toilet of the UK.
We are mundane and beige, we are often regarded as one of England's most boring teams as we rarely get involved at either end of the table and we never play Rovers...

Bath secure a play off place despite losing today.
Great achievement but the Play-Offs at that level are an absolute minefield to win though, so still a long old way to go yet.
Unfortunately all the potential games are miles away as well. 6 hour round trip on a Tuesday night anyone?

Was sat in home end today (don't ask) right next to the City fans. Home support was dire for such a big match. City fans got praise from the home fans 'much better than Ipswich' etc.
General consensus that we're a decent team and probably edged it.
Norwich is a VERY friendly away game, despite the away ban of fans and it being a big match for them fans happily mixed in the Coach and Horses near the ground with no issues.
Nice to see fans getting on. I may want to mix them but I want that to be my decision. Use a sausage as a breakwater. But I'm nit-picking, on the whole, a very good effort - 7 on 10. Let's make love.

I see Norwich as the benchmark for BCFC, a decent ground, big catchment area and decent owners.
Owners that attend nearly every match and are proper fans apparently. Though speaking to their fans the owners are very careful with money which stops them properly pushing on.

Seems to be nonsense about the away pubs thing. Plenty of City fans in the Coach and Horses.

Do Norwich have a lot to play for? It's pretty unlikely that Hull catch them even with a game in hand.
Of course they do, if they lose tomorrow and Hull win their game and their game in hand they're level on points...

Seven Stars, very old, historic pub so worth a visit.

The big winners I would say are Tanner, Roberts, O'Leary, Mehmeti and Dickie, whose status has all got stronger as the season wore on.
A difficult season for Conway, Wells, Bell and Cornick, with injuries, bench time, poor service and inconsistent form.
I expected more Pring and Sykes if I'm honest. They've just looked a bit average when I expect exceptional.
Everyone else has pretty much done their job.
Would agree with that. Bell had a good spell but tailed off, Pring good in spells but overall not hit the levels expected, not sure he will be on as many shopping lists this summer as last.

Tony Powell , Bristol lad from Lawrence Weston if I remember correctly , lived couple of doors away from my Nan
That's right, yep. I met him recently and he said he always wanted to play for City as he was a fan, but City never came in for him. Probably could have used him back then?

This match will also be involved in a documentary that is being made about one of their former players, Tony Powell. If you're attending you could immortalised in film.

Looked harsh on the TV but we didn't get any good angles.
Surprised so many people are moaning about their time wasting! The win was crucial for them and the two points dropped could see them relegated.
