Never to the dark side
In all honesty it's doubtfull they had Our BCFC in mind when they decided to cover the game. More like Birmingham. I think the above comment is a very selfish and negative comment. If we don't ask we don't get. I'm guessing that if Five extra get a few e-mails from BRISTOL CITY fans saying thank-you for covering OUR games, then five extra might say they are the only fans that say thank-you so lets give more coverage to BRISTOL CITY as they are the only ones to say thanks I attend the Sky AGM every november wearing my BRISTOl CITY shirt I am the only football follower that attends these AGM Every one else(approx attendance 300)who wants to ask a question/s talk about Skys finachial situation I just say thanks to Rupert Murdoch for putting BRISTOL CITY live on Sky and say no objection to Sky putting BRISTOL CITY on as many times as they like I think BRISTOL CITY did quite well for live games last season We had five live championship on sky out of the allocation of 55 games from the championship excluding cup and play-off games Not a bad record for a team in the third tier of football in season 2006/07 I presume you have never been one of the following So you have never been short of money a minor domestic commitment(baby sitter not turning up?) Maybe confined to bed at home with a minor illness or even hospitalised At work/college/school could be taxi driver or a delivery driver What about those who have visual defects Lastly what about those who CAN'T get to City games who have mobilty difficulties

That is a good return for a newly promoted side. 55 into 24 should be 2.2 games per season per club so to get 5 games on the box plus the 3 play off games is actually impressive. Any idea which club had the most games on Sky last season? WBA I'm guessing? Am I correct in thinking we have already had one game on sky with PNE and Soton away to follow? Any idea when Sky will be looking at the fixtures again to decide which games they also want to show live? I hope we can at least equal last seasons 5 league games this season. sticks81
I attend the Sky AGM every november wearing my BRISTOl CITY shirt I am the only football follower that attends these AGM Every one else(approx attendance 300)who wants to ask a question/s talk about Skys finachial situation Maybe everyone talks about Sky's Financial Situation, because as an investor in British Sky Broadcasting plc, (not just sky sports of course) it's the only time to put questions of that nature to the board? An AGM isn't exactly the time to be canvassing for extra televised matches....
Never to the dark side
An AGM isn't exactly the time to be canvassing for extra televised matches.... put it this way, Rupert Murdoch and his son james know where Bristol is and BRISTOL CITY play in red and white Do you wanna come to the AGM in November? free transport and food at the event Back to you
Red Ferret
I can picture all the suited businessmen and financial high rollers at the Sky AGM, all sat at the table discussing the years annual profit margins and forecast for the coming quarter... When all of a sudden NTTDS storms in with his City shirt on, demanding our game vs Barnsley is televised with immediate effect I can imagine their faces
sticks81
Do you wanna come to the AGM in November? free transport and food at the event Back to you No I attend close to 50 AGMs during the course of the year in a work capacity, so I'm not likely to want to spend my spare time trying in vain to impress the board of SKY with an A to Z and a City shirt. It still doesnt change the fact that Birmingham are considered a bigger draw than us when it comes to deciding which match they will cover. One of the things i enjoyed most about being a city fan last season was being written off but just about everyone in the media for almost the entire season. It does show you that we were are not a fancied team in that respect and long may it continue until we achieve Premier League status. Whilst a few more bods will now take notice i don't expect we will get anymore sky games but if we do it will be because the opposition is considered a ratings winner or our league position or club history btween sides or combination of all three. Best not to presume my work situation or home life it's a little insulting. I often listen on the radio if i cannot get to games because of other financial responsibilties i am not able to go to that many games. Keep up the good work though and make sure next batch of away games has more carpark photos your blackpool lot didnt have em, strangley i was dissapointed.
