Nogbad the Bad
Isnt that his 3rd penalty scored in 3 games?! Could well be, seems to be a bit of a dead eye Dick from the spot. He must be confident to take them, and must add to it further to keep scoring them. Augurs well.

Nogbad the Bad
Elsewhere the gas have just got yet another penalty and scored it against Millwall. Very poor roar from the Rovers fans on the radio.

mozo
Why was Plummer hauled off last week?
Nogbad the Bad
Why was Plummer hauled off last week? Probably taken out by the gas. Marlon Jackson was certainly clattered by Regan ( whoever he is) who was rightly booked.
Nogbad the Bad
Apparently Rovers have been awarded FIVE penalties this season already, all at home.

Nogbad the Bad
Gas 2 up against hugely depleted Millwall, incredibly not a penalty. Sounds like a really poor crowd down there, little atmosphere and no noise from Millwall all match.
Mr Mosquito
Just netted a 4th min pen. for Hereford at Aldershot. Hereford must be delighted with Plummer and Jackson on loan from us as they helped Hereford beat the Gas in the JPT in mid-week.

Nogbad the Bad
Late equaliser for Aldershot taking the gloss off Tristan's double. Still time for a match winning hat trick completer though.
GrahamC
Seeing as they took him off when they were two up that seems unlikely.......
Nogbad the Bad
I had the sound for SSN turned off. Even then I wouldn't necessarily have expected Jeff Stelling to announce Plummer's substitution to the nation.

Mr Mosquito
Stelling just said ' that makes it 4 in 4 for the former Bristol Rovers player'. Who is this 'Stelling' prat?? Plummer was playing against the Gas in mid-week. Hereford let the 0-2 lead slip in the final minutes to draw 2-2. Without Plummer they would have lost again. Admin Ian M Posted September 5, 2009 Admin Report Share Posted September 5, 2009 Did Tristan not start off at Rovers before signing up for our Academy? I'll answer my own question with this excerpt from Tristan's Bebo page: "Tristan started his Bristol City career after being released by their local rivals Bristol Rovers. Bristol Rovers released Plummer and he then joined City after being scouted by City scout Roger Barton in 2002."

Still, if he was released by them, as you say, 7 years ago and was therefore never a professional there, it is still a very odd description of the player to call Plummer 'the former Bristol Rovers player' when he is currently on loan from BCFC ( who get no mention at all) It's not exactly the first thing that comes to mind, is it?
