Eddie Hitler
You may already have read these, but they are the best that I've encountered: Fever Pitch - really good, honest view of what it is like to be an obsessive football fan, and the emotional price you pay for it when most of the time you don't even enjoy it. My Favourite Year - cheering book. About 8 or so pieces by individual fans on a special season. City are there for a Bob Taylor season but the others are equally good. Don't have it any more but from memory there was something like St Albans 1972/3. Great read. The Damned United - I read the book before the film and went through it in two days, mostly at Gatwick! Superbly written. The film is good but the book is much better.

Economou
Best football book have read is the one by Eamon Dunphy about Man Utd during the Busby era. Stan Ternents autobiography is a good laugh. Best sporting book is the biography of Muhammed Ali by Thomas Hauser, absolutely superb.
