Guest WillsbridgeRed Posted May 20, 2004 Posted May 20, 2004 The blokes are boring and the women and ids are ugly But seriously though it has to be the most boring block going - The fuss when people stand up is unbelievable, but what can you do when people at the front are standing? Even the kids go mad about standing, which shocked me - Has it really got to the stage where the younger generation actually want to sit through 90 mins? One thing I did notice, is that the East End isn't very loud. Quality night though, even bumped into some old school friends I'd not seen in years, which was nice. Can't wait till Cardiff though - Will be in the cheap seats where people actually have common sense
San Fran City Posted May 20, 2004 Posted May 20, 2004 WR, I too had seats in the Williams, G-block, row C and I think that half my frustration, up until the goal, was that seemingly no-one else around me was that bothered. Que the goal though and all the other lads following me down to the front of the steps and nearly spilling onto the pitch! Should have come and joined us down the front WR, specially good after Roberts winner
Guest WillsbridgeRed Posted May 20, 2004 Posted May 20, 2004 I think I was the other side of the block to you fella, Row E seat 26 I think, your side looked abit more lively. Mrs wouldn't let me go on the pitch, fair play she knew what I was going to do before I did haha
Guest John-0 Posted May 20, 2004 Posted May 20, 2004 I was In block F, with some mates, near to the front trying our best to makee some noise. I have to say I couldn't really hear the East End at all. But I'm sure most of them in there were trying their best to cheer the team on
