RedM Posted May 20, 2004 Posted May 20, 2004 For the LDV I was just glad to get there and didn't mind if the roof was open or closed.Having been there I want it closed this time. Imagine the noise and the atmosphere. Nice and cool if it is hot outside. Not many of us are ever going to experience football played 'indoors' so my vote is for 'closed' please! PS: who decides this, I think it was discussed last year but I can't remember. Is it the Referee or the stadium managers?
The Humble Realist Posted May 20, 2004 Posted May 20, 2004 I want the roof off if its sunny- looks better playing int eh sunshien than in the dark
Guest bristolbred Posted May 20, 2004 Posted May 20, 2004 I think that the weather has a lot to do with it!!. We'll have to have words of wisdom from Mr Rougier!!.
jimmyb Posted May 20, 2004 Posted May 20, 2004 Ultimately with three games in three days the weather will be the single determining factor if the weathers a bit iffy for that weekend it may well be closed if its hot and sunny it will be open having been there both open and closed i have to say the noise when its closed is a lot better though and it would be great - so if thats what you want pray for rain!!
madmax Posted May 20, 2004 Posted May 20, 2004 PS: who decides this, I think it was discussed last year but I can't remember. Is it the Referee or the stadium managers? It is the stadium managers. It's all down to the weather i.e. sun, rain, wind. All makes a difference to the pitch. Probably be open. MM
