Br 1st ol Posted May 20, 2004 Posted May 20, 2004 Brighton/swindon fans will already be on the same trains we would catch to baardiff... best book now...... In fact it would be v. funny to book seats from swindon to baaaardiff today, it would only be a few quid more than from B TM, so if they do qualify tonight, they wont have any trains to travel on anyway! Just an idea!
Guest tully Posted May 20, 2004 Posted May 20, 2004 For the LDV last year they put loads of extra trains on from TM, i think they were going out 1 every 15 mins at one stage! Though as you say whoever wins tonight they will likely be on the same trains, so even my luxuary of getting on at Bath and gettin a seat is under threat!!!
thatcham red Posted May 20, 2004 Posted May 20, 2004 Tried that. Currently only able to book seats on the 11.50 out of temple meads. A cheap day return is £7.50 for adults and half price for kids. Pay on the day. I suspect it will be a queuing system all morning. It's going to be busy, but who cares, just glad to be going
Guest exiledred Posted May 20, 2004 Posted May 20, 2004 i have a car- the park and ride system worked very well last year
PhatWill Posted May 20, 2004 Posted May 20, 2004 Intrestingly for this Saturday they have banned all consumption of alcohol on trains between Portsmouth and Cardiff!
