Guest Spying Monkey Posted May 20, 2004 Posted May 20, 2004 Hi Folks what a rollercoaster of a couple of days more up and downs than a boro girl on a sat night. Well done to all at City , you lucky lot but what a finish last night and you did finish third so no sour grapes from thee . Had a few Blackthorns plus bought a pot of Scrumpy Jack at a boozer after getting very lost in a place called St Pauls , i thought it was posh down south ? Car left on a slip of the A1 just north of the Harrogate junction but she almost made it there and back ! Reckon QPR and Plymouth could well stay up next year as both were quality when i saw them , i hope you good folks join them after winning in Cardiff ! Reckon that you need to add to your squad though and from what i have seen there are 4 quality players in this Division who would not want another year in it and would fit well into your side and maybe even help you into the Div 1 Play offs next year Scott Taylor - Blackpool - FW Leon Knight - Brighton - FW/WGR Sam Parkin - Swindon - MF Paul Murray - Oldham - SB/MF That said your good enough get up out of this divison without them Thanks for the directions see in the cup perhaps some time Ta Jason E
Guest tully Posted May 20, 2004 Posted May 20, 2004 Cheers - you folk have been a credit to Hartlepool FC! The sobering thought for me today is that Pools Vs City could still be a league fixture next season! i.e we've done nowt yet! We will have to play a whole lot better Sunday week - hopefully our experience of already playing at the Millenium will help!
bcfcrobin Posted May 20, 2004 Posted May 20, 2004 Nice to hear from you, no offence to anyone whos lives in st pauls but it is the ########hole of bristol mate!
The Man In Black Posted May 20, 2004 Posted May 20, 2004 Full respect to you and your team mate. If any of our fans did come over after the final whistle to goad you I can only apologise. You were fantastic (though I did start a chant of "you're not singing anymore" in our block at you after our equaliser... though in my defence you started it ) I did come over at the end to clap you all. Like I said, full respect.
Guest weqprarebetterthanu Posted May 20, 2004 Posted May 20, 2004 Spying monkey - lovely people up your part of the world mate but i shall not be sorry to see the Hartlepools of this world going off our (Thats QPR)fixtute list and its going to be Southern clean sweep on Div 2 promotion !!!! Well done for running Bristol so close , but i suppose you must be pleased to have even got in the play offs , for us it had to be Autos this year. Cheers me duck
Guest Spying Monkey Posted May 20, 2004 Posted May 20, 2004 What are you doing on here , personally i aint into that North South thing and anyway i thought Plymouth and Bristol were from the South West not the south but i am sure you will correct me ! I think you might be wishing you were back at places like the Pool when you find yourself at the Cardiffs , Millwalls of this world ! Good team QPR but try not to get carriied away lad "!
Guest AndrewTN Posted May 20, 2004 Posted May 20, 2004 Fair shout mate! Trust us when we say we feel your pain....seems like only yesterday we were in the same position as you are....that's why we are so addicted to this game!!! Sucks you had to experience St Pauls....wouldn't wish that on anyone! Good luck next season.
