Guest maidenheadred Posted May 20, 2004 Posted May 20, 2004 ... that I *really* wanted Brighton, not Swindon. Apart from the hassle of playing a local team (you always know a few opposition fans, you know they'll gloat for years so you worry even more, etc - plus the fact it would have kicked off in Cardiff) - they looked almost a whole division better than Brighton at times. Maybe I came in too late and missed a Brighton player getting sent off early, but it looked to me that Swindon were comfortably better. Knight is good - but surely he ain't enough to turn around the lucky shower of sh * 1te I saw this evening into an outfit that can beat us. Anyway - unlucky Swindon. I would say "good luck for next season" but I won't because, frankly, I think that like Grimsby Town, and Rotherham United - some clubs just should not play their football in the first division. So stay where you belong. In division 2. With your sister. Who's also your mother. And your uncle. Who's also your brother, etc.
