BS3_RED Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 I sit on the back row of B Block. Its good that people are seeing B Block as the place to be next season. The more singer's the better the atmosphere. Welcome to the block.

Guest Bawno Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 I sit at row Y of B Block. There are loads of forum members near me including EDR and yes, I have seen Neo a few rows in front. You should have no probs!
elko Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 i will be in block b next year. season just gone i did not have my ST there, but sat there most matches.
Leroyfromthestart Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 Me and my mate have just bought season tickets in row z of block b. My brother is in row t i think with his mates. Looking forward to singing my heart out whatever division we're in!
Stylus Posted May 22, 2004 Author Posted May 22, 2004 Look out for me then, i'm in row t, around seat 25 and i'll have 'CTID' on the back of my homeshirt. Can't wait
Leroyfromthestart Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 Can't wait either. Thinking of having 'prem ere we come' on the back of my shirt, but is that tempting fate?
Guest Red_Rat Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 Yes, i sit in there. Row V Seat 11, i sit in there along with 'Tian', 'Tuffley_Red', 'ChrisM' and a few others. See you there new people and may will all be supporting a City team in Division 1 next season!

Guest claloudav Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 sorry got my ticket for the williams, is blcok b the one with wooden seats ? just wodnering
Guest Ciderhead Reynolds Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 me ane 2 others row zb next season we'll do our best to help out Me being one of them two
Guest redwes Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 i think it is good that people want to raise the atmosphere at ASHTON GATE but the thing that ruins it is that when we r not winning the CITY crowd die down even when we r drawing only a little bit of singing is going on. Look at other teams in our divisions they nearly sing through the hole match
Stylus Posted May 23, 2004 Author Posted May 23, 2004 Lets change that then!! Who wants to get a drum!! Or a big flag at the back of the block?? 4 Ideas B Blockers??
Guest STORTFORDRED2 Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 Atmos has been variable in B block this season. Strange really as was advertised as singing area. At times it has been really good and at times grim. Seems to be people will join in if it's noisy but otherwise they keep quiet. Still bugs me the number of people who get up for half-time at 3.35 and then leave their seat five mins before end. Is that what's known as a part time supporter?
Stylus Posted May 23, 2004 Author Posted May 23, 2004 I've never left early from a game but somepeople need to leave early at the end of the game to get transport and it takes around 10 min to get out of the Dolman anyway... But at half-time theres no excuse!
Claverham_Red Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 it takes around 10 min to get out of the Dolman anyway... That's very true. Usually me and my dad wait for the rush to get out to calm down before we actually leave our seats. It's a bloody nightmare leaving the Dolman and at half time you have to queue up for 5-10 minutes just to go a toilet and thats why when the Williams stand finally gets redeveloped I think I will go there. But where ever you are in the Dolman you have a great view.
Guest STORTFORDRED2 Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 Game still lasts until the final whistle. What transport leaves at 4.55 rather than 5.10? get a later one!! Number of games we've won at the death over last few seasons should expose the foolishness of leaving early. Anyone know who left early on Wednesday? They probably still think we lost!

Usually it is the older people who leave early but that is fair enough but for anyone else to leave early is a fool
Guest bcfcsols Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 A couplr of seasons ago I had a Dolman ST and we used to stand down at the front on 91 mins (precisely) so we could get out for our bus quickly. This wasnt too bad actually as 90% of the family enclosure had already left so we werent obstructing anyones views.
