Guest bcfc_dryblackthorn Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 I really hope they don't give out those plastics horns again like last year, when i watched it back on tape after it sounded pathetic like and england U 21 match. Without them we can make some real noise and get the songs going properly without those annoying horns drowning all of em out. I really hope they don't sell/give away any, but they probably will DON'T BUY ONE !!! I am not a killjoy, i just thought last time it made it sound pathetic.
elko Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 hmm, there have been a couple of threads on this mate. but sadly, it aint us real fans who bug them, its the part timers thinking 'o that will be a laugh on our day out' :@ no, it will ruin the atmosphere
gater2 Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 Agreed, they spoil the atmosphere, unfortunately there's no way they won't be sold outside the ground before the match, there are always those blokes who are selling them.
TomBCFCUK Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 well i bought one today ready for next sunday while queing for my ticket only £3 pound bargain anyone else get one ?
Guest claloudav Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 well i think its good to show support for your team in this way,but it doesnt help if youre sat infront or behind or next to someone who is constantly blowing a loud horn in you rface, prefer the checkered flags meself bargain at £5
B-Rizzle Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 sounded pathetic like and england U 21 match. yep if we don't have them though we need to make sure that we do make noise because horns are better than nothing. But i still agree that it makes it sound tacky and if we can make some noise before the game(especially then to get evryone going) then it will be a whole lot better.
Guest tinnion123 Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 they should be banned as they ruin the singing atmosphere aswell very annoying :@
Guest Neo Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 I'll be buying one for my season ticket holding, away travelling part-timer daughter
Akira Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 you complain about it ruining an atmosphere??!!there wont be an atmosphere...at home we get average attendance of around 12,000 (very rough est) there will be 35/40,000 city 'fans' there.... compare the 12,000...then narrow that down to at most,1,000 singers. most people who will be there rarely (if at all) have been to Ashton Gate,so they won't have a clue about the songs and might not even give a to$$ about the game, they might just be there to watch a game of football. in a nutshell,I'm just saying that i dont think there will be an atmosphere like the last few games we have had at home.i think this because most singers are in different parts of the ground(i.e high, low, middle teir etc) and also there are too many fans not wanting to sing, cheer on their team etc.
Guest cidered Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 Sorry lads but I'm afraid........................ . . . . . . . . .......................... i will buy a hooter but not a air horn, hooters can get the du du dududu du du du du CITY songs going rather than 1 bloke shouting that out sunding like a p*r*i*##k hole.I am desperately hoping I'm on the top tier now.
