Guest exiledred Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 really seems silly to me, according to the stoires on the site some people actually slept there overnight!! why?? we have 30,000 tickets for crying out loud!!
Guest nobby Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 must be round the sodding bend!!!! if your that hell bent just get up early in the morning????? theres no need to sleep in your car!!!! sandwhich short of a picnic is the only explanation
Guest Red_Rat Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 Geebus, let them do what they want. You didn't have to do it, which you didn't, therefore it doesn't matter.
The Man In Black Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 I did wonder though why they couldn't just have got to bed a bit earlier and woke up earlier to get down there first thing. I was up at 4:30am to finalise some revision for my uni exam this morning, I could have given them a ring to wake them up if they'd asked!
Guest O_Faz Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 to finalise some revision for my uni exam this morning, Finalise?! Cram it in more like I know how it feels and anyone who says they don't do it is lying and personally its the best way to do it I feel.
Guest WestburyRed Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 Not everyone lives in Bristol. Maybe they travelled some distance and rather than drive through the night decided it was best to drive down in the day before and sleep in the car.

Yes but we await the " if you didn't sleep overnight in your car, you're only a part-timer" posts!
Guest exiledred Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 doesn't really matter as long as you get a ticket
The Man In Black Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 Finalise?! Cram it in more like I know how it feels and anyone who says they don't do it is lying and personally its the best way to do it I feel. In my defence I've normally revised all the stuff I have to do, it's just I like to be up early to look over it, put it into mind maps etc. I hate the thought of walking into a three hour exam at 9 in the morning if I've only been up an hour and a half! But yeah, there's no harm in a bit of cramming
Guest bcfcsols Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 I was wondering about this. But if you have to get 30 tickets with 15 of your mates ST's for the top price range seats, then its worth staying all night and getting first pick. It also misses a three hour queue!
