Guest wolverhampton cider ed Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 JUST A THOUGHT. A SEASON TICKET HOLDER HAS A TICKET FOR EVERY LEAUGE HOME GAME THEREFORE GETS PRIORITY ON PLAYOFF FINAL TICKETS WHAT ABOUT A FAN WHO HAS BEEN TO EVERY AWAY GAME ALL OVER THE COUNTRY NOT HOUGHT ABOUT EH. SURELY THEY SHOULD GET THE SAME PRIORITY? AS TRAVELING AWAY FOR MOST CITY FANS INVOLVES DRIVING A LONGER DISTANCE (PETROL) AND PAYING MORE FOR AN AWAY TICKET.
Guest december 1963 Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 Wrong surely. If they went to every away game then they went to Grimsby in February, they had a voucher B and they were therefore equal in status to a season ticket holder (except ATYES6 who hid his in a safe place)
Guest red_pill Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 As a matter of interest, does this (hypothetical) fan go to any home games?
Guest Neo Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 I always thought that City get nothing (at most admin costs) back for away games. If this is correct, then although going to every away game is loyal, it does firk all really to protect the future of the club. Hence, Sexstone "bread and butter" fans statement about season ticket holders. If it was me, I would go to less away games and by a season ticket if I wanted priority tickets. Oh yeah, I do
Bristol Boy Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 Lots of Premier Clubs have an away season ticket which does exactly what you suggest.
Guest Ricky BCFC Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 How do you propose they give fans like you priority then? Do you think you should keep all the ticket stubs from each match you've been to and then show them at the ticket office to prove you've been to every match? And then that just holds up ques even more because they have to check all of your tickets. Also I agree with december_1963 if you've been to every away game then you would have a voucher which would get you priority anyway. Sorry not having a go just interesting how you would handle it?
Guest tully Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 AS TRAVELING AWAY FOR MOST CITY FANS INVOLVES DRIVING A LONGER DISTANCE (PETROL) AND PAYING MORE FOR AN AWAY TICKET. Surely any fan who has paid out for 23 away tickets and travelled at great expense to all the games, could afford even the cheapest available home season ticket in the Ateyo (£248.00 last season). And also as was said earlier the Grimsby AWAY voucher would have placed you in the "priority group"
Stylus Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 Yes it would be a good idea but Colin has already said it isn't possible because some club don't accept away deals and it would sort of muck up the ticket sales..... But i thought people have already used their Grimbsy ticket to go to the Hartlepool away game??
Guest wolverhampton cider ed Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 Red PILL yes this hypothetical fan goes to home games just not enough to condone buying a season ticket so there
