BournemouthRed Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 Am currently phoning up every minute to be greeted with annoying blokey saying all operators are busy and queue is full. Can anyone give me a success story to cheer me up/tell me how long I'm likely to be here - it's sunny outside!
Guest claloudav Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 when does the phone line open does anyone know?

Guest LeicesterRed Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 Started phoning at nine ;got tickets at 930. Quite efficient really. All side tickets now gone! Exiles second best again. good luck for your call. Just keep re-dialling. I ain`t looking forward to my phone bill. Started at 9, its now 11, no luck at all.
BournemouthRed Posted May 23, 2004 Author Posted May 23, 2004 Still no joy. Thankfully I'm using the Uni phone line to call so it's not costing me anything but sitting inside when there are golden sands just outside is very annoying......... :@
BournemouthRed Posted May 23, 2004 Author Posted May 23, 2004 Get in there! I'm in the queue at number 24. Annoying tingly music interspersed with irrelevant annoncements about season tickets and Elton John. Shouldn't be too long now....... Edit - Twenty.................three......................... For anyone who has got through - any chance of picking a place in the stadium (I'm going for £32 seats) or just luck of the draw? Edit 2 - Twenty.................two............................ :Sleep12: Edit 3 - Eighteen - racing through! (11.28am) Edit 4 - Eleven (11.38am) Edit 5 - Eight - slowing down?!? (11.48am)
BournemouthRed Posted May 23, 2004 Author Posted May 23, 2004 Hallelujah! On the stroke of midday - through to the office, 2x £32 seats purchased in the Upper tier. Ah, can relax and go to the beach now......... Good luck to everyone trying to get through on the phones.
RedM Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 Grrr I am sooo envious of you. I have given my season ticket books to a friend of a friend who is booking a private coach and getting loads of tickets together. I tried ringing him all yesterday but got no ****answer. I don't know if he has got tickets or has done a runner with them. He got the LDV tickets last year and all was fine so i maybe worring un-necessary, it's just the not knowing! :@ Were any of you stuck behind a bloke buying loads of tickets????? He is not the sort of bloke to stand for 5 hours in a queue so i am worring that he got fed up and went off to the pub. If i don't hear by 4.00 today i'll have to queue tomorrow and having season tickts will count for nothing! All my fault for getting involved in this I know so I don't expect any sympathy. I was going to queue for as long as it takes but I was out voted! :@ Anyway what i am jelous of is that I LOVE Bournemouth Beach, what I would give to be down there now!
dazza247 Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 I take it the phone-line is still just for season-tickets and the like?! Well worried I won't get tickets!!
Ashcott Boy Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 I'm phoning at 1.00am tomorrow and trying online as i dont hold a ST so it s worth a try.
Guest ROLFIE Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 I was under the impression that non ST holders can buy em by phone from 9am monday??
