Guest Red_Rat Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 I want to put it into a big frame like on Soccer AM. Can anyone tell me where to get 1 from? Also i want to frame my LDV Vans programme and the Play Off one. Cheers.
Guest City_Steve Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 Try'd Ikea? They sell a large selection of empty frames! but not sure they'd sell one big enough for your quality shirt!
Guest City_Steve Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 What about looking on the "web"? There's got to be a site out there to suit your needs!
Guest City_Steve Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 Hmmmmmm...Don't remember seeing the frame department last time I wondered round Makro thou!!
Guest Red_Rat Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 Come on, someone on the forum has to have a shirt in a frame. I might post it on the Ask Steve L/Colin S forum as I'm sure inside City they have lots of shirts in frames!
Guest stevey2005 Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 have you tried any of the art shops?? i know there used 2 be one near bigW I'm sure theres another art n craft store in bristol you may also want to check out argos but i dont think the frame is big enough argos
Taz Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 How about a Photography shop, or anywhere that develops photos? There are a couple about half way down the Bedminster parade..... Tesco also sell frames, be worth a look there. As for asking Steve/Colin, I'm sure a picture frame is the least of their worries at the moment....
Guest port marine red Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 There is a picture framing shop opposite the Miners Arms pub, next to the dog grooming shop. Had some stuff done by them before. They do a good job but be prepared to pay a bit.
Guest eviltaxman Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 Why not buy some clear plastic sheets from B&Q... easy enough to score ('scuse the pun) the plastic & snap it at the right place. Making one may be cheaper than buying a ready made effort, but at least making it, you can say it's all your own work
RedTop Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 Dare you suggest where one would be? Dare I suggest typing "picture framing Bristol UK" into Google? You'll find a selection.
Guest red_pill Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 May I suggest that place between B&Q and TK Maxx at Cribbs Causeway? CraftWorld or something like that? They have always satisfied all my framing need and they're much cheaper than a little independant place...

They have always satisfied all my framing need and they're much cheaper than a little independant place... I think you mean Hobbycraft. They may be able to help
Guest red_pill Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 I think you mean Hobbycraft That's the badger!!
bristolcityup Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 I sell lots of memorabillia on auction sites and the best places to buy frames are Wilkinsons as they are cheap and nice.
Wardie Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 I think you mean Hobbycraft. They may be able to help hobby craft sucks ass and it has the lame advert, but thats what put me off it, but go down there by all means
Wardie Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 Is it just me, or is this the most awful thread ever? thats what i thought when we started talking about hobby craft
