I think Cardiff is a great ground plus its only 20 minutes on the train but i would much rather be playing this game at Wembley. The whole day seems so much more special when you are at Wembley. oh well, i will just have to wait two years for the Division 1 play-off final.
22A Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 I was in London on Saturday and saw the building site. It's coming along nicely and the new Wembley Stadium will look impresive. Simple query; the previous ground was officially The Empire Stadium. Wembley merely referred to the district it was located. Has the new ground been given a name other than Wembley Satdium please?
elko Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 Dunno bout the new one, but I deffo prefer the MS to the old Wembley. I remember going for the final vs Stoke and being very unimpressed.
