Bristol_South_End
Don't know whether this has been mentioned already (or indeed if anyone cares...) but Akinde scored his first goal for D&R this evening, against Brighton of all teams! I imagine he's right up there with Sproule as most likely to be gone in the summer when the team is trimmed
Guest
He's already been told he'll be released. He scored at the weekend for D&R didn't he?
Bristol_South_End
Indeed he did, apologies, its late! Wasn't aware he had been told he was to be released though, seemed inevitable due to our abundance of striking talent. I wonder if he can play centre-half... Ron
Really don't think we've seen the last of him at this level. Been impressed with his cameos during his time here, and given a decent run and good support I reckon he could be a decent goalscorer for someone, if not in the Championship then certainly in League 1. Abraham Romanovich
Brighton fans very impressed with him last night http://www.northstandchat.com/showthread.php?198864-John-Akinde...worth-a-look
GrahamC
In his last two games for the Daggers he's scored two and won two penalties. Good to see that surrounded by better quality players and supportive fans he's doing much better than he was during his spell with those losers North of the river........ hinsleburg
i'd like to see him stay even though that doesn't look likely. i would say he's a better impact sub than clarkson.
slomo
He must be good - he's keeping Bas Savage out of the starting eleven!
