openEnd Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 I have F...I...N...A...L...L...Y ordered my tickets (I think) No email yet. Not feeling very reassured by seetickets. Were they cheap to hire? I am convinced that I will either get charged 4 times for them (the number of times it timed out) recieve 16 tickets or none at all My confirmation screen said.... 'We expect to despatch the tickets within 10 days ???????? :@ You can follow the progress of your order using the online order tracker' ******* great, just hope our wonderful Royal Mail don't put another spanner in the works! That would top it off nicely. Well done Mr Sexstone for organising such a smooth operation, you must be very proud of your involvment in this latest fiasco.
Guest nickD Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 Wayahead/Seetickets are usually really good. I always buy tickets through them. They post the tickets recorded/special delivery, which is a weight off my mind. Dont worry, they'll be here. If in doubt, call up their 24 hour helpline.
wesco Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 I just phoned up to get a few extras and tickets will be sent out today or tomorrow and should be recieved no longer than 72 hours from ordering.
PhatWill Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 Erm...calm down. Seems to me the majority spent less than an hour getting tickets which isn't bad at all bearing in mind the obvious interest there'd be. Were you up just before 7am trying for tickets, did you try phone and internet?? I echo your last sentence, except without the sarcasm.
Guest east_dundry_red Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 At least you didnt have to que up for 5 hours like i did on saturday!
Lordofthebling Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 Well done Mr Sexstone for organising such a smooth operation, you must be very proud of your involvment in this latest fiasco. to be fair, did we expect anything else?! All adds to the fun i spose... 2500 tickets sold by 10am, however I'm sure tickets will still be available up till wednesday. the internet thing is ok, but i reckon more than 100 people should have been ready at 9am I'm afraid... I think, like everyone else, i got up early to get a good seat, however i spent from 7 am munching some toast, quickly checking my emails then choosing where to sit, "ok, so the singers are in U17, need to be near there, and i quite liked my corner view, but wait dads eyes arent what they used to be, i wonder what the upper tier is like" - so that come 8am everything was either crashing or engaged. But thankfully, at 10.45 i got my tickets. I dont care where. as long as I'm there. Only thing that worries me was that i ordered off the phone and didnt get a reference number or anything.. oh dear, but at the moment, We are going to Cardiff!
