openEnd Posted May 24, 2004 Author Posted May 24, 2004 eBay normally take items that are obviously illegal off of the website. I thought so too but why would they have a section devoted to Tickets & Travel > Tickets > Sporting Events > Football ???? Peraps gpwelch(225) got fed up with waiting on seetickets.com? or their 'Hot'Line and decided this would be more cost effective?
Guest Spike Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 I think thats a disgrace and that ebay should report whoever is selling them to the proper authorities! Thats the reason why REAL fans dont get to see the team they love
Guest nickD Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 It happens all the time. I doubt it'll be taken off. This happened with the RHCP tickets that went on sale earlier this year. I bought my tickets 3 days before the telephone release, and so did a lot of touts that were selling them on Ebay. I bought two for £30 each, whereas my housemate bought two for £58 each the week after!!!
