ChubStixx
Notice he's been released from WBA today. Anyone know much about him? Worth a go?
Riaz
Talented but very injury prone. I'm out.
EmersonsKev
No doubting his talent but as previously mentioned injury prone. Pay as you play otherwise no deal.
SUMMAT OUTTA NOWT
Another quality championship player who has not quite made the Prem sit up and notice due to a attraction with injuries. Which means Leicester will probably be in for him and he will put 25 in next season.

Rocky
Barnes had the world at his feet when at Derby, he really WAS a prospect. As others have said, injuries have really taken there toll.
Monkeh
I seen that name and thought he was good on champ manager, He is a talanted player no doubt but as others have said far too injury prone, Doesn't he play left wing/Left Back?
glynriley
Another midfielder released today , Tamir Cohen , could do a job for us. Also had a few injuries though.

Like a class higher than Gavin Williams. Would love him in the centre of midfield!
II Wurzel II
Can't believe Giles Barnes is only 22, seems like he's been around ages

Always liked the look of him when I've watched him. Not sure what wages he would command though. Also our last recruitment from Bolton didn't work out too well did it !!!!!!!! Brislingwood Red
Id prefer Andy Reid I think. Just been released by Blackpool. Maybe wages could be an issue.

Brislingwood Red
Just cos the bloke carries a bit of timber doesn't mean he wouldnt improve our midfield. I very much doubt were going to find an experienced, athletic, creative, leader, goalscoring, set piece specialist for what were willing to spend. Which is probably upto a million. I think we need to lower our expectation levels a tad. I bet Reid ends up pulling the strings for a club of more statute than ours this season. He didnt play much for Blackpool, hes a player on the decline. Although I do agree that we need to lower our expectations on transfers.
Simon79
Would love city to go for Barnes, yes he has had injury problems, but he has definitely got real quality. Seems to fit the profile we are after, young, talanted and would certainly be hungry to succeed and prove what he is all about. Maybe a 1 year deal with a 2nd on offer once a certain amount of games is reached. Im fairly sure he has been around the 1st team squad for wba a fair amount this season, so hopefully over any injury problems. Worth a punt imo. Tony Montana
Just spoke to my mate who has a season ticket at west brom. He says he is lazy and tries too much skill but he would be good for championship and still young.
Guest
He lost his pace after injury. If he was released by Derby and then WBA you have to question if he's going to ever make it back
