Just wanted to post something mildly positive. I thought the Eastend support today was absolutely brilliant. From start to finish it was loud and the support for the team was class.

Well done lads, it was a bright point on a another bad day at the office!

Proves it helps when everyone is crammed in, makes for a much much better atmosphere, always does, it couldn't be the football making it good!!

I agree, good to see something postive.

I must be in a very small minority as I thought we actually played reasonably OK and probably deserved to win the game more thean Brighton.

James had a good game, the back 4 looked confident, Marv put in a very good shift as did JCR, we just struggled to get Maynard set-up on goal but he was pretty much marked out of the game.

Yeah, i think we don't need Skuse and Marv, I don't think it wouldn't be a bad idea playing Pitman in a more attacking midfielder role, saying that Clarkson did that role well last season aswell. I think with Skuse and Marv in the same team theres alot of hard work with no end product.

If we are going to continue playing a Swansea like style then we need a Pratley type player to help the striker. Like I said i think that could suit Pitman and just have Killkenny and Skuse as the 2 holding midfielders. More chance of scoring that way

Best atmosphere of the season I thought. Agree with poster who didn't think we played so badly, certainly better than vs Ipswich, Swindon, surely better than at Doncaster- perhaps best display of the season? Apart from the very worrying goal drought that is.

Keep the east end in the corner and make sure away fans are as squashed up as possible as well. Defiantly dont give the block behind the goal to the away fans. But we have bigger problems to deal with at the moment - like Millen being the manager.

I thought that a couple of times today and then realized it was Brighton.

Amen to that Craig-the moment the east end goes back to us then I'll be getting my ST for it. Bung the away fans in one end of the Dolman or something.

Better yet stick them in Block A of the Atyeo, 50 seats should be generous enough!!!

Great performance from the fans in the East end. If only we had a manager who was half as passionate!

Millen out! Hope the bloke who told me he wasvery happy with todays game is having a great night after coming away with 0 points.

They were brilliant today, best they've been all season.

Thought the atmos yday in the EE was probably the best it has been this season and last for consistency and noise. Would have really been good if we'd gone ahead. Can't help but feel this was down to the slight relaxation on the rules of entry.... Also, it was a so called sell out in there but there were LOADS of empty seats, what's all that about? I had a few more who wanted to come but couldn't so it's a bit poor really.....

It may well have been brilliant in there but from the other end it sounded very muted whereas brighton sounded loud and enthusiastic. though of course portsmouth were better.

Which other end were you sitting in?

I was in the Atyeo and the EE were fantastic. It must be the first time in aeons that the EE has got the rest of the ground singing along ("Red army").

Brighton were good on occasion but not as loud as their numbers would suggest.

I was also in the Atyeo and yeah that sounds about right. Sounded pretty good really and other bits of the ground also participated.

Balloons, flags [One for Albert], noise and sheer enthusiasm. Class act off the pitch yesterday that corner. Positives too often get overlooked here
