Never to the dark side Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Many of the callers that rang into Geoff Twentyman Saturday sports show were saying the club is failing to communicate with the fans(thats us) WHY, WHY, WHY did the club not start selling the tickets when we were at home to Brighton? The ticket roll/s for the away game against blackpool have been at Ashton Gate since 1st September A lot of fans MIGHT have bought tickets when they attended the Brighton game and there were approx 12,000 of us at the game and that COULD have led to a higher away attendance at the Blackpool game In my opinion, a lot of City fans will have second thoughts about attending the game. city's away following in previous years have been 09/10 1,104 8/9 1,521 7/8 1,335 6/7 627 The club gets five per cent of of all away ticket sales so if we HAD sold 1,000 tickets while at home to Brighton the club would have been 1,200 pounds better off. We didn't play Blackpool last season and surprise suprise its the Blackpool illuminations time when we visit Blackpool What better incentive does the club need to get these tickets on sale as soon as possible?

Red Robin Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 We always spend the weekend there, but really am finding it hard to justify it with the state of affairs at the gate.
Economou Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 We always spend the weekend there, but really am finding it hard to justify it with the state of affairs at the gate. Go up for the illuminations then, as per NTTDS's suggestion, if you get bored with those maybe go and watch the football.
sglosbcfc Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Yes it is terrible being a City fan at the moment, just starting our 5th consecutive season in the Championship (our best run since 1980), we're two divisions above our local rivals for the first time in our history and work will be starting on our new stadium very soon. Go to Blackpool and have a good time and enjoy the match COYR
