Guest red alien Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 its time to get rid of millen before the gates get lower than they are now ,this takes me back to the days of russel osmond as manager ,the performances were so bad and boring the gates went down and down the problem then is getting the fans back becouse even when form improves its a slow process to get the fans back ,so surely its more economical to sack millen than lose money on the gates

Red Robin Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Simple solution.every man and his dog knows what has to be done. Let's hope the man in Gurnsey deals with the problem.
TRL Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Biggest difference, osman had a team full of players that were league 1 to league 2 standard at best, and the board shat on him from a great height by giving him no money. Osman produced miracles keeping us up. He gets a bad press as the football was dire, but boy did he know how to get a team to defend. Imho osman with the resources, lack of help from the board and team he was left with did brilliantly. Can't really compare the two.

Osman was left with absolutely no money whatsoever - after his departure it took us a bloody long time to get back to where he left us.
Murraysrightplum Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 We'd be better off with donny osmond

The man in gurnsey can't have a say he's majority shareholder but not on the board its sexston and the board who have to make the call (on paper anyway)
forbespm Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 We'd be better off with donny osmond i disagree.i think jimmy osmond would be a better bet!
