Rocky Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 The answer to all our problems.... http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/transfer-news/QPR-striker-Patrick-Agyemang-wanted-by-Bristol-City-on-loan-after-being-left-out-25-man-squad-article798329.html
Esmond Million's Bung Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 This is ******* hilarious, if it is true and I sincerely hope it's not, how can anybody and I mean anybody still have any sympathy or support for Millen, the amount of abuse this particular player and GJ took over this loan signing was virtually 100% on this forum, ******* hilarious.
Red Robin Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 This is the last straw, the club can not be serious. What is going on at the gate?
Pete1975Legend Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 TBF he isn't that bad of a player but he will just join stead and pitman in midfield.
havanatopia Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 Out of position, as centre back, Millen could be on to something here!!!!
Andrew_V1 Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 if this is legit then i wont go back till millen is told to go do one. surely the board wouldn't sanction the return of the worst player we' ve seen in recent years?
Guest Bishops Finger Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 Please. God. No. I can honestly say if we sign this useless clown on loan for the SECOND time, I will not venture down to the gate until he is safely packed off back to London.
Superjack Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 This is absolutely hilarious... ...I mean, who would be stupid enough to.. ...oh, wait..
Redhyde Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 I really really can't see it, has to be rubbish. /prays
Northern Red Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 I know Millen appears somewhat clueless at present, but he hasn't completley lost his mind, surely?
Eddie Hitler Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 Ffs, this has to be newspaper rubbish. Surely.
RedRaw Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 a) why would we possibly be after another striker.....we are playing one up front and we have Maynard, Stead, Pitman, Taylor and Jackson b) why add another player to the wage bill in a position other than defence or creative midfield...the areas we are still short in c) even if 1 or 2 of the strikers were to go out on loan (taylor/jackson) why patrick f**cking agyemang I really cant see the board sanctioning this but if they do both Millen and Sexstone should walk
Alex_BCFC Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 I don't think he is that bad but wouldn't improve us. Would just be a pointless signing and a waste of money.
Esmond Million's Bung Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 a) why would we possibly be after another striker.....we are playing one up front and we have Maynard, Stead, Pitman, Taylor and Jackson b) why add another player to the wage bill in a position other than defence or creative midfield...the areas we are still short in c) even if 1 or 2 of the strikers were to go out on loan (taylor/jackson) why patrick f**cking agyemang I really cant see the board sanctioning this but if they do both Millen and Sexstone should walk if the quote attributed to Warnock can be substantiated that should be enough to constitute a sackable offence.
Mr Popodopolous Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 Not a good signing if true, paper talk surely. However, I dids look at his stats- they're not great at all goals wise. Now some strikers may provide a fair few assists instead of goals- but not in this case....
Lack of Action Man Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 He made no effort to contribute the first time, why would it be any different a second time? Strange, strange goings on at BCFC lately.
Riaz Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 Seriously doubt this is true. I dont rate millen as a manager - but I have enough faith in him to be sure that this is just a rumour - nothing more.
Guest ateyomike Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 only good thing he did was score against us in the 1-1 draw hehehehehehehee
REDOXO Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 only good thing he did was score against us in the 1-1 draw hehehehehehehee Is Orr injured? I note he wasnt in the team tonight...Any chance right club wrong player....Just a thought!
CiderHider Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Good player I thought.. We dont have that 'type of club' as GJ would say. How many strikers do we have now, and what happened to Clarkson, is he really a striker?
Guest Fireman Sam Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 The answer to all our problems.... http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/transfer-news/QPR-striker-Patrick-Agyemang-wanted-by-Bristol-City-on-loan-after-being-left-out-25-man-squad-article798329.html Yes KM will finally be sacked
CiderHider Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 In the Sun, must be true, just wondering if there is a Ghana connection with Adomah perhaps? http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/3810540/Pats-the-way-for-Robins.html
Eddie Hitler Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Is Orr injured? I note he wasnt in the team tonight...Any chance right club wrong player....Just a thought! He's in their 25 man squad so not Bradders. In the Sun, must be true, just wondering if there is a Ghana connection with Adomah perhaps? http://www.thesun.co...for-Robins.html Please don't attempt to find even the slightest justification for this. We can only hope that it is paper talk coming exclusively from QPR who are desperately trying to offload this useless lump.
simonwheeler Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Bradders is injured, happened in Carling Cup v Rochdale? As for Ageymang well I agree with all others that really would be the FINAL STRAW!!! Might as well play Damian Stewart up front?
Monkeh Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 this better not be true, why do we need another non goal scoring striker?
SJC Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 I simply refuse to believe this has any substance. The players ability is not a problem for me, why we'd sign another striker when we play one up front with two Millen signings on the bench absolutely is.
Robbored Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 I simply refuse to believe this has any substance. The Mirror is adding 2+2=5 because he was here before. More cutting edge journalism from the redtop.
chinapig Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 The Mirror is adding 2+2=5 because he was here before. More cutting edge journalism from the redtop. Quite. Typical ludicrous Mirror story.
Greedo Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 If this is true then Millen truly has lost it. He can't be that stupid surely?
Guest Terace Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 OMG..... lets hope they got the name wrong and its midfielder AKOS BUZAKY instead. Save yourself Keef.
GrahamC Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 The Mirror is adding 2+2=5 because he was here before. More cutting edge journalism from the redtop. Absolutely. I don't believe there is any truth in this for a minute. Apart from the fact that his previous spell with us was disastrous, we are only playing one up front and leaving two of his signings on the bench (plus Taylor out of the squad completely) as a result, so Millen is certainly not going to squander any funds on Agyemang.
Webzcas Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Robbered has this right. A lot of the red tops are very lazy when it comes to filling their back pages. I ran a story that West Ham were going to take Joe Cole on loan. Within 24 hours it was in the Daily Star and Allardyce then went on Talk Sport to deny it. The Star nabbed the story from my site.
Monkeh Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 The Mirror is adding 2+2=5 because he was here before. More cutting edge journalism from the redtop. angry rant at robbo, Bean_Head has said there is a 0% of this happening
megansdad Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 angry rant at robbo, Bean_Head has said there is a 0% of this happening Remember warnock is 61 you know....
megansdad Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 http://www.bcfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10327~2449208,00.html
Donald Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Fair Play from Beanhead VERY VERY quick to dismiss this!
Greedo Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 The panic is actually over! http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_7174089,00.html Edit: Didn't realise this was on the OS
BCAGFC Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Probably Colin or PA's agent trying to drum up interest in him. NEVER believe anything that isn't 'BCFC Official'. BCAGFC
Pederho ll Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 I take it the club have released this due to the response on this forum? After all clubs and players are linked all the time.
hippy273 Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 I think it's fairly evident we need no more strikers don't you
megansdad Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 I take it the club have released this due to the response on this forum? After all clubs and players are linked all the time. Good to put a stop to all the if this is true comments - makes sense
Keith_Lemon Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Good to put a stop to all the if this is true comments - makes sense Probably because of the amount of abuse KM has been getting so far this season. Club obviously dont want to hear anymore of it.
sephjnr Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 It's a good job I didn't have a drink while reading the article.
David Brent Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Probably because of the amount of abuse KM has been getting so far this season. Club obviously dont want to hear anymore of it. Yep. Good point. It's the only reason I can think of why they would be quick to dispel the rumour when normally theres no comment. The club obviusly read this forum then. Any chance the 'story' was created by an 'Anti-Millen' protestor?
RedRaw Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Any chance the 'story' was created by an 'Anti-Millen' protestor? ooooh......happy clappers, doom merchants, dullmoaners....now conspiracy theorists
Guest woodred94 Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Patrick angry man stay away from our club...
havanatopia Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Either gutter press or Millen has done a volte face.
Port Said Red Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Either gutter press or Millen has done a volte face. Hmmm our wonderful "truthful" press, Senile Colin or KM? I guess who believe depends on how you feel about KM.
