Gillies Downs Leeds Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 The telling point for me today came when Brett equalised, apart from Millen and Wigley nobody else moved. No reaction from any other staff or players. If the rest of the staff / players were fully behind the current regime then you would expect some show of emotion surely?
Andy Horsman Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Equally telling for me, was the lack of animation on the City bench when the fourth official's board indicated 4 added minutes. The Hull bench to man were 'geeing' their players on to try and snatch a winner, City's bench were all rooted to the spot. As you point out, the body language is quite noticeable
myol'man Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Did anyone else notice during the break in play, mid second half when we were 1-0 down, about 5 or 6 players came to the side to have a drink, at a crucial point in the game, and Millen didn't speak to any of them?
westred1 Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 The frustration is obvious; watching the highlights you can see Pitman is aggravated after he scores when during his celebration he pushes the ball boy and kicks the water bottle ad look a happy bunny! Nice for him to get a goal - has to start instead of NM tuesday!
