I don't know if you remember us playing Manchester City in ye olde top flight when Malcolm Allison was their manager, the chants were ringing out from the Park End and East End "Malcolm Allison what's the score?, Allison what's the score?". We hammered the mighty Manchester City for the exact same reason as Milen's BCFC are getting hammered - because Malcolm Allison and Millen were/are coaches not managers. This club desperately needs a good manager at Championship level and I'd go for trying to bring in Dave Jones if I were Chairman.
cityboy Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Not sure how you reach the conclusion he's a great coach. I haven't seen anything to back that up. In fact, I haven't seen anything to suggest any of our coaching staff are "great".

You're right, Keith Millen isn't a great coach but the original poster's title made me think of Malcolm Allison and he was a legendary coach at Manchester City under Joe Mercer as manager but Allison was a pretty mediocre manager at the top level. As for Keith Millen, outside this club and city nobody seems to have even heard of him. Keith Millen is a 'nobody' at present. '

Alex Ferguson was a nobody, and was sacked from his first job for being a bit of a crap manager. Maybe it will take a move to another club to realise Millens potential? he has been with us a long time, and maybe that is the problem, things are too samey. If he has a change of scene maybe it will open his eyes a little and he can go on to be a good manager. I Don't think the pressure he is working under now would help any novice manager, it's a shame, as I always thought Millen would go on to be a good manager for us, it is going to take a miracle turn around for that to happen now I think.
