Guest ashtonbcfc17 Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 I have recently changed my account on this forum due to a new email but i would like to suggest instead of slating him we give him backing.I have sent him a personal message and would advise others too,i don't know if some already have but i believe it would be suitable for some lads to brim him with confidence at some point and we might see the old Nicky back! The message i have sent him as follows.I don't know if it's the best but i hope it gets to him. "Dear Nicky,I am A City fan writing in hope and belief, First i would like to Congratulate you on the birth of your first child.But second i would like to beg of you to give this contract a thought,Your saying the right things but the fans want to see actions,i know how you feel mate because things do take time to think over,I myself am a footballer for amateur team called Chepstow Town,ask Willo if he's heard of them!Also i know you want to play regular football for a team in the prem and your heart isn't truly here anymore,Andy Cole was the same our club is a stepping stone,i have to accept that but could you please show abit more commitment i know your not having the best time at the moment but just abit more effort would please everyone,i think you've not been bad in honesty.Just others are repetitively getting on your back about little things,the fans here have always respected you and many of us will continue to do so,you didn't deserve jeering yesterday,but We are becoming annoyed as many people have common jobs and your earning twice as much (jealousy) is a key word,either way.I'd love you to sign the contract as it would mean so much to us,You want to be playing football and we want you too be playing football,you had a good game at Leeds and were just unlucky.But i hope you'll find form again someday i believe in you and so do many other LOYAL fans .Yours sincerely.Ashton adams x"

Guest ashtonbcfc17 Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 i'll be honest with you.He probably wont read it but sometimes players do come to terminology from fans.And if he did he might actually have a glimpse of what he's actually doing to this club,i've never seen a player being as bigger than a club but he's costing us a shed load of wages and i hate the fact he's dragging it down.Seen worse but it's truly starting to p**s me off now.

Look he's not going to sign and neither would any other footballer in his position - If he wanted to sign he would have done so by now. You may love the club as many fans do - but to the players, especially those who have signed from other clubs/areas it's just a (very well paid) job, and in this case he's soon going to leave the job and get another even more well paid job. Get over it and move on - like Maynard. CR
