Guest stephen Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 I hope they do something positive today they need to give a reaction to last night and the last couple of games that we have played When the 3rd goal went in that was enough for me i walked down the steps and saw Colin sexton wife get up and give colin a kiss on the forehead and he looked close to tears the rest of the board all looked the same. if something is not said do we just carry on and hope that things pick up. I just wish they would act there was talk that they are going to bring Dave Jones in and move KM to assiatant coach. my self cannot see that work Buckle and trollers were both there too but they did leave before the reading goals went in

Guest fabio Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 I rumour from a reliable source is itv are on stand by for a press conference at the gate. Only a rumour but a reliable source
steviestevieneville Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 You can't blame Millen for those last 20 minutes. I'm not his biggest fan by a long way but if you want to blame anyone blame James and the back 4 for not shutting down quickly enough. That i'm afraid is basic stuff. Going forward last night we were superb and should of been out of sight after an hour, but i suspect Millen won't get any praise for that will he.
Mr Mosquito Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 When the 3rd goal went in that was enough for me i walked down the steps and saw Colin sexton wife get up and give colin a kiss on the forehead and he looked close to tears the rest of the board all looked the same. Indeed, when that third Reading goal went in it was a terrible moment for this football club. All the fantastic effort from the players for over 70 minutes down the pan. I really hope that was the low point for this season and we recover from there. There's hardly likely to be much of a recovery without some drastic changes to personnel though.
Guest CIDERARMY1986 Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 I rumour from a reliable source is itv are on stand by for a press conference at the gate. Only a rumour but a reliable source what time if is it on if it does happen be good to know what the board think and if they are behind millen but i cant see them doing this cause the board have kept quiet all season on the top issues of the club where as last season the board had kept in contact with the supporters and this season we seem to be in the dark about what is going on at the club.

Guest fabio Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 I'll update if I hear anymore so for now just a rumour
Guest stephen Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 On the way down to the gate I was positive this was the turning point of the season. I was saying to my father in law this is it could be the start of the season we need. How wrong was i i was trying to be strong for keff but enough is enough now he wont attract players to the club he wont give players a chance to play for us even though the current selection are not doing the job his tactics are so questionable playing players out of postions bringing the best player off the feild defending a lead I think if its a clean sweep new manager hopefully the players that we have sat in the stands may get a chance to play and they wont be seen as the waste of money everyone thinks. I do beleive the in the oldboys culture is effecting the team and thats sad we will never progress If they dont act they will have to forget the new stadium cause we will be down in the league 1 and not getting the gate attendance that will be needed to fund the stadium so surely this should be enough to capulate a positive step in the right direction other wise we will be seeing buckle a lot more down the gate
Trowbridge BCFC Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 The whole situation is crap. Why was he ever appointed? I have said from day 1 that we need a proven manager at this club, we all knew that. Bristol City have bloody conned its loyal fans to a degree, and wont even come clean and let us know what the hell is going on. Unfortunately its got personal for me now, and i can honestly say that i dislike somebody who i dont even know in Millen. The man is totally clueless, regardless of how well we played for 70 bloody minutes, the game was for 90 minutes which HE as the manager is responsible for players, tactics, subs etc. If he is that wooden not to see what was going on since BEFORE pre season it beggars belief. In truth we all knew this ourselves and that is why many fans didnt renew season tickets, or dont bother to turn up to watch this crap Millen calls management at this Club. Like it or not, we are in the shit bigtime, The club will lose money one way or another whether its relegation or paying off Millen and a few of his players. We want some actions NOW

Riaz Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 If Millen is doing the pre-match interviews, I for one will be p!ssed off. NOW is the time to Sack Millen. Place someone in charge, in caretaker capacity, for saturday and aim to have someone in charge by the next game.... which isnt until 15th October.

Yes, the perfect time to get rid of him as will have a nice couple of weeks to appoint someone after the Blackpool game. If this is dragged out until Christmas, we have pretty much no chance of staying in this league. Besides, I want a new manager in place so I can go back to the Gate. I have refused to spend any more money in supporting City whilst Millen is in charge. A new manager, brings new ideas and will give the entire squad a much needed kick up the backside.
eskay Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 You can't blame Millen for those last 20 minutes. Yes you can, the game was starting to swing in Reading's favour before the first goal and then we lost confidence after the goal. Yet again the changes were made too late, he does not react to what is going on on the pitch quickly enough.
Guest stephen Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 its all his fault he is the mananger.. Tactics defend a lead change the formation
Rocky Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Gawd I hope Wiggly isn't considered for manager!
The Casual Connoisseur Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Gawd I hope Wiggly isn't considered for manager! This is my biggest worry, if we don't make a change or appointment from within then we are done for.
Guest CIDERARMY1986 Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Gawd I hope Wiggly isn't considered for manager! Well that seems to be the trend at city at the moment settle for second best
Pewsham Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 I think it was Napoleon who said "I do not want a good General, I want a lucky one" . I think this holds true with Bristol City right now.
