I've been a long time reader of this forum and I've read some pretty insane things in my time on here.

Probably the most offensive in recent times is some suggesting this afternoon that we should give Millen more time.

But by far (and I mean by far), the most ridiculous thing I have ever read is the suggestion as David Moyes as our new manager. And the funniest thing about it is that whenever anyone suggests it, no one has anything to say about it, it seems to be accepted as a genuine suggestion.

Someone even wrote today "How long has he got left at Everton?".

Now I've been a City fan for 20 years and I can be as dillusional as many, but this talk of Moyes just beggars belief. Why would one of the top 5 managers in the PL even consider coming here? How could we ever think about affording him?

The man has worked wonders at Everton and I fear that when he leaves them, Everton will become relegation fodder. So my question to the people who have suggested Moyes is this;

Are you mental?

Before anyone says anything it wasn't me making the suggestion!

We lost our chances a long time ago with him and as much as I'd wish for him, oh and I do, it's never going to happen!

Obviously Moyes would be great but there'e not one chance in a million. Obviously.

in all fairness to the op, he has got a point, but what he fails to realise is that a lot on here post under the influence of funny drugs

I reckon we could get Moyles to come to Ashton Gate.

We'd need a few voulenteers from this forum, some strong rope and a quick getaway car.

Probably best to strike when he's asleep too, that way he'll be less able to fight back.

I think he's got a better job at Radio 1 to be honest.
