It may mean he is in charge for another game or two even, but if SL has his support in looking for his replacement, then it will give us the time that we need to find the right person.

Plus Millen would not come out and make a statement like "I will keep on fighting" then offer his resignation. Im sure he is feeling very low right now but he is a bigger man than that. I believe its just the OP having a wild stab at whats going on behind the scenes and hoping that he will get lucky. When/if anything happens, you will hear it first through Adam Baker on Twitter or through the Official Website.

It wouldnt be a very humane way to sack Millen if CS sacked him before he had to travel back to Bristol on the team bus - imagine how uncomfortable that'd be for him. I'm confident that CS has sharpened his axe and in the coming days it'll find it's target.

It is blatantly obvious that he will be gone so you could make anything up along the lines of KM going and we would be none the wiser; he will be gone.

Hence the reason why he would tender his resignation to SL directly. Makes sense if the rumour about his veto is true.
