nickolas Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 I just almost had a heart attack......watching ssnews the yellow BREAKING NEWS bar flashed up........fricken egg chasing result, not the departure of teflon!
PhilC Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 20:27 Just played FIFA 12 and lost miserably so decided to pack it in... Unfortunately Keith hasn't as yet...

Northern Red Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 21:20 - Having arrived home from Blackpool, Keith Millen has just been spotted in Sainsbury's buying a few bits and tried to help an old lady who was struggling with her shopping. He asked "Can you manage love?" She responded by saying "Listen son, you've got yourself into this mess, don't ask me to sort it out!"
Radstock Red Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Saturday 1 October - 9.20pm - The club is looking a shambles from Top to Bottom. Sort it out! Time for another Thatchers.
CalgaryRed Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 2.24pm Mountain Time in Calgary and Millen is still there (though still in charge would be stretching it). Peter O Hanraha-hanrahan Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 22:35 GMT.....Match of the day has just started....fully expected a sombre looking Gary Lineker announcing that Keith Millen has been sacked, instead got some crap about the PL. So incensed I put my foot through the ****** screen and now Ive got to explain that sh*t to my wife. Thanks Keith!
Greedo Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 2300 HOURS: Still here. Match of the Day is on. I need another beer.
BCFC Jordan Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 2302: Wondering to myself when Keith will get the sack. Even more concerning is the doubt in my mind on whether the board will still actually do it. Not watching any football highlight programmes. It's too depressing watching all the other teams happy fans.
Superjack Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Saturday October 1st 2011. 11:04 pm. Millen STILL in charge. What the **ck is going on?
The Red Planet Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Sat 23.05 Unless CS had an agreement with the board (before today's match) that KM would be sacked if we lost, I doubt we will hear anything until Monday. More likely Colin will call a Board Meeting first thing Monday and then announce he is sacked. Like most BCFC fans I recognise that Keef is a nice guy, but he lacks passion and tactical awareness. I have backed him up to now but after the disasters of Tuesday v Reading and today, it's goodbye.
Guest Timmeh Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 I like Keef, but he's a s*** manager. 23:12 - still here
maxjak Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 After digesting another pathetic performance by the overpaid slackers who represent our support..................I thought I wouldl go out for the evening, and upon my return read the "write up" of how brave Keith fell upon his sword, and made way for the new incumbent, so as to give them 2 weeks to try and remedy the current debacle..............only to find on my return at 23.07hrs that he has vowed to carrying on fighting!!!!!!! Keith, mate look in the mirror and do the decent thing.....stop delaying the inevitable....and jump before your pushed. Every dog has his day.........but FFS roll over and play dead!!
Kibs Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 I think he will still be in charge for the peterbrough game which we will win because they are shite. This should give the board a few more weeks "not" to sack him.
BournemouthRed Posted October 1, 2011 Author Posted October 1, 2011 Saturday 1 October - 11.28pm - Keith M forced to make grovelling apology for upsetting those who put their trust in him... http://tinyurl.com/xgcd ...however Millen is going to bed as manager of Bristol City.
Pickle Rick Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Saturday October 1st 2011. 11:04 pm. Millen STILL in charge. What the **ck is going on? I know! Managers get sacked/hired and all is announced within mintues from the final whistle of the ex-managers last match!! Disgrace. I think our board should resign and make it public in the next hour MAX!
sephjnr Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 23:50 Watching the St. Louis Cardinals turn a 3-1 lead into a 6-3 deficit in the span of about 8 pitches, and I'm thinking... this is the second time this week I feel like this. Millen still in charge.

ollywhyte Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 00.57 Nearly an hour into the the day after a 5-0 defeat to Blackpool and he's still here...
DaveF Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 01:04 am : I'm in bed now and Queef is still in charge as far as I know. It's ruined my nightly tug.

Stephen Lewis Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 Australia is also waiting for you to go Keith.
Rednready Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 K. M. His life with us started 12 years ago. This is his home and his club. More importantly the home of his wife and kids, where his kids have grown up and go to school. Its not like most footballers, a few seasons and then move on. No this is a different case to consider. Like Carey, Murray and other ex City players on the staff, KM is part of the furniture. If sacked or he hands in his notice, what then ? To help with his family situation, does the club move him over to the Academy, or another coaching role, or do the board make a clean break and move him out ? It will cost the club to pay out KM's contract , then an attractive sign on fee to the new Messiah. Will that be more money than the board were prepared to pay for good signings or loan players ? I thought that KM deserved a decent run at a job he had been thrust in to. He appears to be a good enough sort of chap, but as time has progressed, his softly softly approach has not helped his squad advance and we do have better players than we had under Tins and GJ. He comes over as not hard and ruthless enough with his managerial persona. All the badges in the world are worthless if the information does not get through to the players under his management. Communication skills and discipline are paramount in forming a squad that listens, works as a squad and gets the message from a real deal manager. Make no mistake, with money to burn, the squad will all have computers at home and probably all read this forum, as do their families. KM will have had a big Q&A with his wife and kids last night , and later in the privacy of their bedroom Mr & Mrs KM will have worked on their future plans. Bristol is a huge part of their life, however if the board decide he is no longer manager, he has to leave completely. The new board has to realise that the old boys network has to stop. I know of rugby clubs who have ex players on a 50k retainer just as meeter's and greeters, just to circulate, be seen and wear the tie and blazer. Its a world wide situation, Football, rugby, rugby league, cricket, baseball and American football are all loaded with the old boys having a free ride. Its where a lot of the season ticket and gate money goes......... It wont stop until supporters have a more positive vote on expenditure. Reluctantly, Milly needs to go. Our club is disintegrating under his management Rednready. BCFC 1943-2011.
