Guest Enoch Showunmi Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Fed up of hearing fans moaning. LETS SEE SOME BLOODY ACTION TAKEN!!!! Our club is completely out of control, and we are rock bottom of the league. At this rate Millen WILL take us down (In my opinion) but this has been debated many times before. This thread is not about whether he will/wont take us down bla bla bla. Its about what the fans who want him out are ACTUALLY going to do about the situation. Win or loose against Peterborough, the fact is, he isnt the man for the job (in my opinion!) Can we achieve something simular to what has been going on at Blackburn? If you actually want Millen out, lets see some posters, banners, and Millen out chants. If you care, what are YOU going to do?
Mrdc Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 I think the point you are making are spot on but don't think showing negativity from the start of a match will help anybody. By the Peterbrough game I think he will have left.

I like the fact that you are actually looking at what people would do about the situation, rather than type utter bollocks on here, repeating the same old... I always think that it is a situation of what you are GOING to do about something, not what SHOULD happen. If there are enough numbers then somehing must happen in terms of a fan 'revolt'. It gets boring on here reading in several ways in which Millen or the board or whatever cannot do their job. Moaners actually need to be pro-active and not keyboard warriors who think that typing it on this website really makes a difference.
Guest Enoch Showunmi Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 well isn't this absolutely typical of the all talk but no action posters of OTIB. Don't you love to talk about your passion and certianty that Mr Millen is not the man to take us forward. But then it comes down to actually doing something about it, and there is nothing! We'll probably draw against Posh, and the Atyeo will clap him off! Leaving us in the relegation zone.
Rocky Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 ST holders don't turn up/stand outside instead of going in? turn your back in the stadium?
Guest Enoch Showunmi Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 Exactly! If you want Millen out then you want Millen out. Win or loose against Posh. If people really think he is as bad of a manager as they are saying, then how is negativity at the start going to make any difference what so ever! Maybe if everyone just went in 10 minutes late, so they walk out to a half empty Ashton Gate? Maybe that will make the board stand up and listen to the fans.

The club should take notice of what's written on the various BCFC football fora, if they don't then the general Bristol media - like the Bristol Evening Post - certainly will. It's not exactly just a few posters moaning about the state of the club it's now 90%+ of this forum. Chant "Millen Out" if you want to but I reckon he's on his way anyway - that's if the club's board has any ambition.

So as a fan - who has paid hundreds for their season ticket? - you wouldn't do anything, but rely on the club listening to media? That doesn't sound like a very good plan to me! As for a Millen out chant, it wont happen unless we are loosing. And there is no way that people in the Atyeo and Williams would chant that during a match! Once they are in the stadium, people show their annoyance by walking out or sitting in silence!
BCAGFC Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 Stop the players ****ing wages for being unprofessional and not fulfilling their part of their contract. BCAGFC
Pederho ll Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 I understand the motive, but a protest of this nature is effectively trying to force the board into action. Effectively telling them what they should do. It shouldn't be up to the fans to tell them their job/responsibilites. They should know this already. Clearly, they do not. So it begs the question who are you going to aim your protest at, Board, Players, Millen?

So it begs the question who are you going to aim your protest at, Board, Players, Millen? I understand exactly what you mean. I personally want to vent my frustration at what is being surved up on the pitch, and the poor run of results. This in my opinion is very much down to bad team management (Keith Millen) every time he does an interview it makes my blood boil. Also, poor training, some of the goals we conceed and the terrible play (Wigley.) I have never felt so uninterested in a group of Bristol City players, they are so lazy and there is less passion than ever before. Finally, where the **** are the board of directors to sort it out? Say we protest, we get half the fans at Ashton Gate to stand behind the Williams stand for the first 10 minutes of the game, the team come out to only a few thousand fans. This club needs a wake up call! New management, new ideas, new players and reinstalled passion for the club. We need a whole new management structure with new ideas, I think that as soon as there is change it will bring new belief.
