Guest CiderGlider Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Or they were going to lansdowns house to discus the future of the club Sounds the most likely.

RedZepperin Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Sorry. Joke already cracked above (more funnily).
westonred Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Perhaps their just going to score some weed and enjoy the red light district before employing the new guy.
Guest mark whitehouse Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Bristol-Guernsey Bristol-Amsterdam... hmmmm would they not have boarded a plane to Guernsey where Lansdown lives or do you have to get two different planes...If there is a direct flight they need to stop wasting the clubs money if they did......
Guest Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 He has a private jet, he shares with Peter Hargreaves.
Monkeh Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Wasn't sexton interviewed yesterday at ag Also if steve was about I'm sure he would issued a rallying call too
Slave to the rhythm Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Perhaps their just going to score some weed and enjoy the red light district before employing the new guy. Does anybody else also want to crack the same joke? I've only read it three times already.

Roger Red Hat Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Does anybody else also want to crack the same joke? I've only read it three times already. Dope.
redlandrebel Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 I forgot to inform people yesterday, so i dont know if this has been mentioned, discussed or anyone else witnessed this.., a friend of mine who works loading the planes at Bristol airport saw Colin Sexstone and Steve Lansdown there yesterday, he actually said they boarded a plane to Amsterdam... ... Or your mate did see them but mistook the plane and actually they were boarding the flight to Edinburgh to meet with Derek McInnes this morning?! Fingers crossed.
Cornacix the Druid Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 ... Or your mate did see them but mistook the plane and actually they were boarding the flight to Edinburgh to meet with Derek McInnes this morning?! Fingers crossed. Why should we go to them? (By we I mean SL CS). Let the mohammads come to the mountain.....sort of thing.
Roger Red Hat Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 ... Or your mate did see them but mistook the plane and actually they were boarding the flight to Edinburgh to meet with Derek McInnes this morning?! Fingers crossed. That would have been silly, as they'd arranged to meet him in Amsterdam!
The Casual Connoisseur Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 More likely going to have a look at the Ajax model, youth coaching, stadium model, training facilities etc.
Fodbarmyarmy Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 More likely going to have a look at the Ajax model, youth coaching, stadium model, training facilities etc. Might not be far off...........maybe they were going to see what The Brolly wally set up at FC20?
Guest AngelsBCFC Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 hang on I may be wrong here but..... ''aren't all Privately Owned Aircraft based at Filton Airport now ?'' if so then what would mean SL{Steve McLansdown} & CS{Colin Sexstone} were spotted at Bristol International Airport yesturday getting on a normal Chartered Aircraft to Amsterdam surely? could this be who they are going to see in Holland????....read below... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruud_Gullit Old Football Manager Mr Ruud Dil / Gullit Lives in Holland now believe it or not , During the 2010 FIFA World Cup, Gullit worked as a studio analyst alongside former players Jürgen Klinsmann and Steve McManaman for ESPN . then he worked for.... Terek Grozny On January 18, 2011, FC Terek Grozny, a Russian Premier League football club announced that Gullit has agreed to sign a year-and-a-half contract and become the head coach for the Chechen side. Gullit told Sovetsky Sport: "I'd like to believe that I can bring joy into the lives of the Chechen people through football [...] Of course, I won't deny that I'm getting lots of money from Terek."[28] Gullit was sacked by the club on June 14, 2011, having only won 3 games as manager. The club also said Gullit had a "party lifestyle".
Porto Red Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 More likely going to have a look at the Ajax model, youth coaching, stadium model, training facilities etc. Surely NTTDS has an Ajax model they could have looked at?
BigTone Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Perhaps their just going to score some weed and enjoy the red light district before employing the new guy. Or going to the red light district for a meeting with Avram Grant

Where is Frank De Boer ??? Any views and im not making this up.... Source/sauce and all that rubbish.... This isn't actualy as far fetched as it sounds... I certainly wouldn't write it off being a meeting with McClaren seeing as he lived in the Netherlands for a while, as you mentioned (Although I didn't think that myself) Also, we all know these meetings allegedly take place in private, and with Amsterdam just over an hour away from both Bristol and Edinburgh, how can we be so sure they wouldn't arrange to meet McInnes there? If they met in Bristol, you'd hear someone saying "I saw SL in Bristol airport..." If the met in Scotland, you have the same north of the border "I saw McInnes having a meeting at Edinburgh airport...looks like he's off to Bristol City..." So, in my opinion, interesting info...
CotswoldRed Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Martin O'Neill's not on holiday in Holland at present is he?
