I don't understand why how name isn't being thrown around.I would see lee Clark as an candidate for the job...he hasn't lost a league game in around 30 games and would bring confidence and a winning mentailty..look at Paul lambert,Gus poyet and other managers.football has changed past ten years and we need a fresh manager with ambitions and wants to play the way to suit football the way its played now....Dave jones, billy davies I don't think have the drive that would be needed.we need a manager to make it there bristol city..Jones robins and Davies won't do that...hire clarky before another team will...

next danny wilson! play off bottler

And what's this based on exactly? Forgive me if I'm mistaken but hasn't he only made 1 play off appearance in his managerial career? Played one final, lost it. Hardly a noteworthy stat is it. Not like he's done in 3 seasons in a row.

My number 1 choice.

Doubt we'll get him though.

Why not leave huddersfield.he has made them have more potential than us...so why can't he do somethings like that here..and lost one playoff next Danny Wilson...oh Yeh cause we played well and came close to promotion...I would take that

I think he would be good but as some have put it already, why would he leave a club on the up like Huddersfield and also I don't think we are looking to pay compensation for anyone.

I think he wouldn't come for that fact we ain't paying for anyone.whoever it is we gotta get behind them who knows what mite happen...nicky hunt mite even play and well....no I am talking crap

Of course we could, and I don't see why he wouldn't.

The Huddersfield chairman (forget his name) is both rich and ambitious. IF Clark were to leave, and I don't think he would given we're technically only 3 places above them, Town would want serious cash for him

He's at a similar sized club in his native North that is currently 37 league games unbeaten and just 3 places below us in the football ladder.

Forget compensation issues, this is an utterly unrealistic suggestion all round.

A league above is more than 3 places...its not like that.its about ambitions.if u don't ask u don't know.
