Economou Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Surely Gerken can't start after the last match ?
Guest Brislingwood Red Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 James. Bin poor of late but still remains 10 times better than Gerken.
Andy082005 Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Both shite Agree with this. They are both crap, and drop at least one clanget a game
Warwickshire Red Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Neither - could do with 2 new reliable keepers or at least 1 quality first choice keeper (as well as new defence + a couple of midfielders....)
simonwheeler Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Get rid of both pronto. Neither are good enough at this level or League 1 for that matter???? Taxi
Brizzle Jordan Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Should of bought Frankie Fielding. I think Derby paid around 300k for him, would be on alot less than DJ.
formerly known as ivan Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Harsh on James. Made some good saves 1 on 1. Couldn't blame him for either goal as well
eastonboy Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Harsh on James. Made some good saves 1 on 1. Couldn't blame him for either goal as well The second, of which I was placed directly behind in Dolman block D, went straight through the middle of his outstretched arms - it was hardly top corner and he should have saved it EASILY. To add some balance, he did well coming out of his box to tackle Tomlin in the first half, and made two very good one-on-one saves.

Done all the hard work but continually making cock-ups on what should be bread and butter stops. How many times have they both spilled balls that should comfortably have been collected and more to the point, how many times have those spills cost us ? PDG
Guest WickwarRed Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 James was at fault for 2 of Readings goals, Gerkin was at fault for 2 of blackpools and James was at fault for the 2nd goal today Thats 5 out of the last 10 conceeded that should have been dealt with by the keepers Sorry but thats not good enough
Mr Popodopolous Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Neither are particularly good, certainly not at this level- Gerken conceded 5 last time out, and James is too old now.
Guest Brislingwood Red Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 The angles not brilliant on Sky to be fair but looking at it, it looks like a hell of an effort! Is it not?
NOTR Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 When the second goal went in NM shook his head put both hands above his head in a feeble flappy action as if to say **** me that was poor, and from my view in the EE it wasn't even that good.

Same here, although why the expletive did no one close down the scorer !!!

The Casual Connoisseur Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Gerken is awful, he IMHO doesn't have what it takes to play at this level. James is over the hill, Henderson looks great for Pompey at the moment, almost playing like a sweeper, very commanding. Edit: he just fell over!
Slave to the rhythm Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Henderson! Get Weale back on loan?
!james Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 the new managers first job should be to get a keeper in on loan
