mookey Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Yet again Steve has dug deep and put more money into the club with the appointment of McInnes Well Done Steve, just to say we appreciate your continuous and generous support It may seem that everyone is on your case and can do a better job. Talk is cheap but you have delivered again, thank you.

For his sake and his money I hope McInnes is every bit as good as he looks on paper.

Fair play for digging deep and all that, but l will save my praise when we see what this new man is all about. Perhaps judge him on results.
TRL Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 ....and the alternative is? Live within your means. This was Steve's phylosophy when he started, that somethere along the line went missing, and we have spent massively (for us) With no real return in sale of player from this outlay. We have Haemoraging money left right and center he has decided to go back to his orignal phylosophy, after the horse has bolted The debt has grown and grown under Lansdown, the debt is currently his, but could be called in at any time. if the long term goals is the stadium and increase of revenues, well I just hope it comes off and brings in th Money to play back Steve's Debt. if it doesn't Steve Has made a huge gamble, and I didn't really see him as a gambling man. Time will tell if Steve's Vision was brilliantly thought out or a complete mess leading to an epic financial meltdown like in the early 80's One thing you cannot deny is hthat he has put his money where is mouth is, I can applaud him for it and hope it pays of for both us and him

Clearly a very good idea. How is this actually going to work?

He has made a few mistakes along the way (who hasn't), but always to move the club forward. Let's hope he, the club (& the supporters) has learnt from these mistakes, and we can start to look towards a brighter future for BCFC. COYR! First stop... Let's see improvment on Sunday v Birmingham (regardless of the result)!
Admin Phantom Posted October 20, 2011 Admin Posted October 20, 2011 Lets hope he has got this decision right this time ! Out of the 5 appointments made in his time only GJ has brought any kind of progress in the club. .. self made problems if you ask many people !
