Guest citytype Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 Yes, Owen seems quite taken by our new Gaffer
steviestevieneville Posted October 21, 2011 Author Posted October 21, 2011 What interested me the most was "his extensive contacts in the game" and that Coyle and other managers will be willing to help him. All jocks together. So that's fergie and moyes on board
Lrrr Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 Yes, Owen seems quite taken by our new Gaffer i wonder why...
Red Robin Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 http://news.bbc.co.u...ll/15406878.stm Just listened to Owen Coyle,WOW this guy rates him big time. Must be honest never heard of the guy, before city's interest,I was not a fan that wanted him here when there was bigger fish out there. BUT credit, where credit is due, people in the game rate him. He could be the next big manager, this job will certainly show the football world south of the border if he can hack it. Happy he is on board, now sort this mess out at Ashton Gate, and hopefully get us up the table. 100% backing from us, the fans is what is needed starting on Sunday. Welcome aboard the red and white roller coaster. :clapping:
eric04 Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 As long as people don't expect miracles straight away. Remember GJ had to lose 9 games in a row to sort our rabble out.
REBS14 Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 There will be those who will be expecting instant miracles, but i think the great majority of supporters realise that its not an instant fix and may take a few games to get going.lets hope Del Boy has the midas touch and installs some belief, the fans need to play our part as well
Lrrr Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 It's called respect. slight sarcasm in my post considering McInnes took over from where Coyle left St Johnstone and where McInnes had taken St Johnstone too
