Red Robin Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 If we go another seven points adrift from the rest,we are in the brown stuff big time. Looking at the next five games, unless the new man can sort it quickly we have not a natts wisker of pulling clear. No pressure Mr Manager.

mightyreds89 Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 I shouldn't have been but I was surprised today by the lack of effort from the team I thought seeing as first game on charge for Del they would all be up for it even if the quality was not going to be there! Asides from Marv, Albert and Fonts looked like knowone else could care a less!

What I found really concerning regards the new management team, was the hoofball to players that are not target men in pitman and Maynard.they want ball to feet.
Super Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Start planning for Hartlepool and Chesterfield, we'll be the Preston from last season doomed by xmas.
Nogbad the Bad Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Start planning for Hartlepool and Chesterfield, we'll be the Preston from last season doomed by xmas. We certainly would've been under Millen, I reckon we've got a fighting chance now.
Rob k Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 I think we're going down, need some players to step up and be counted
Guest AlwayBelieves Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 I dont think we need a "Miracle" as we are playing ok and actually really well at times! Were just still missing that link from midfield to our front line and until we get a man in to be that link man and the creative player we need.. well we will continue to play well and get nothing out of the games! CTID!
mightyreds89 Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 I will be very surprised if were playing Championship football come August not only are we lacking desire and work rate in abundance but we have hardly any quality full stop! Were a poor side!
mightyreds89 Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 I have to say, I'll be amazed if we are playing championship football come August, not only are we lacking in work rate and desire but we are lacking true quality in abundance! We look a very poor team.

Red Robin Posted October 23, 2011 Author Posted October 23, 2011 thats not down to the management. thats down to players lacking foresight/skill/responsibility. The gaffer should be directing his players,I would have thought he could see the numerous returned balls from the very well organised defence of Brum. It was like a training session regards them clearing their lines. 6 foot plus defenders against two players not target men was not working.
Guest ateyomike Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 i sometimes wonder whether the eye has been taken off the ball by all the talk problems over new stadium and the team/ money for new players has gone by the board whatever happens we HAVE to support our del boy even if everything has to scrapped team wise and start again with a clean sheet so be it if we have to reform/ renew even if it may be in a different division

If not forget the Ashton vale project it will not be required with 10000 city rattleing around in it.
