Guest gibbens1986 Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 After reading a few topics on here and the last few home games.I think some of the city fans are a major probelm with the teams performance.we are called supporters because we are Meant to support.all the negative attitudes and booing and moaning about certain players have gotta be turnt around. Some players play better when confidences levels are higher.that can happen from winning which we can't seem to do at the momment.or through support.support from us. Stick by ur club through thick and thin back them.people selling there tickets or not coming until we start wining don't bother.start supporting like most city fans do.it will help.I.know its hard sometimes as a city fan.but support..and then we might have something to cheer.

Do you go to home games?? If so, I'm sure you will agree that the fans have been extremely patient with this crop of players. I feel during games, the worst the players get is the "silent treatment"..... The problem is not the fans...
Guest gibbens1986 Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Yeah I do go to home games I got a season ticket.by the sounds of the silent treatment u must sit in the willams stand.paitence is one thing city fans haven't got.although we are not seeing the beat team or the best football.from where I am sat all I here is moaning groans and boos.people need to praise what we are doing right..no matter how small it is..and I know it is only little tiny things which are good at the momment..if we go a goal down the players heads drop.its up to us to get there heads up..the Birmingham game was much better..and I know millen and coppell didn't do this club any favors.but fresh start.we need to support every single player..if there having a bad game support them more...its not our fault but we have played a part...with regards to confidence and pressure put on the players.u can cut the tension down the gate with a knife...silent treatment is the worse. Sorry bout the grammer my phone does my head in.
Guest gibbens1986 Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 But I agree this crop of players some are not good enough.and patience has gone.but at the mo where stuck with them.so we gotta do what we can.we are not at the momment
054123 Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Despite the City serving up more tripe on Sunday and Brimingham coasting to what will probabaly be their easiest away win of the season (in terms of effort), i thought the east end supported the reds admirably on Sunday. No one single out for abuse, no real boos, just good support.
Guest gibbens1986 Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Yeah the east end stands out.they seem to support through thick and thin.just rest of the ground.Ateyo is just moaning mate 24/7 booing.does my head in..east end is always supporting.its just some of the fans need to look at the manual how to support someone in need aka city
The hand of RO'D Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Another boring thread with exactly the same bollards as the last one like it. It makes me wonder what people think they will achieve with a thread like this? Everyone to rally around and be like holy sh1t this guy has the answer?
Guest gibbens1986 Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 No I don't expect anything but as the fans moan about the players am I not entitled to moan about are fans.if its boring don't comment and dont read it.simple.
Guest gibbens1986 Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 And if u wanna start a more intresting thread topic add to the one u posted make it intresting.
Guest Lew - T Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 To be fair, this season I think the fans have just accepted what we have and just got on with it and hope for the best. There hasn't been any negativity or moaning, we just want what's best for our football club and I believe derek was the right man for the job and that we will back him all the way!

Sorry bout the grammer my phone does my head in. I sit in the Atyeo. I dont agree with you mate sorry, I think during the games the worst the players get when it comes to lack of support is no singing at all. I hear shouting yeah, but boo-ing? during a game, cant say Ive really heard that. The fans have been very good and very patient this season, not only with the utter sh*t we have had to endure on the pitch, but the contant crap from behind the scenes aswell
Guest gibbens1986 Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Well let's hope it changes and then we can both be on the same page.I do feel the club is split a bit at the momment.the fans don't know where the boards ambitions or expectations are.and the players although putting effort in there not goes enough.but we can't change that.we can only try to be more posative.cause we can't change the other things.
Spike Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 I think the biggest issue is everyone thinks it's one thing... it's not. It's not the fans and how they conduct themselves, it's not the players under-performing, it's not the fact we don't have a natural right back who is good enough and the same for the left side, it's not the stadium taking over the clubs direction, it's not the board showing a lack of focus and desire... it's all of them! As fans we don't want to accept this club is going backwards and that in order to stop that process and straighten it out all of these factors have to be addressed, the whole club needs to change. The problem with this club is... this club. As a whole we can't change the fate of this club, you can be positive, cheer on the lads and so on but if their heart isn't in it then they won't turn it around, we also need to strengthen, not bring in players who are worse than the current players we have. What worries me is when McInnes was appointed manager I thought he may be able to turn it around and maybe he still can but his first big move as a manager will obviously make an impact on how people feel about him and what is it? To loan in a player who has not impressed his current team and who was referred to as "the worst player I've ever seen at Derby" by my mate who is a hardcore Derby fan. Looking at him I can see what appeals to McInnes, a Scottish player with International experience but if Derby don't rate him and he's also described as "injury prone" does that really help us? I think as a whole the fans don't really have that much to be excited about, I mean the most excited I've seen these forums in a long time is when we signed David James, a goalkeeper who was approaching 40 and no-where near at his prime which to me shows just how little we have to be excited about. Prior to that it was when we got to the play off finals which has proved to be a one-off as we've not even looked close to repeating that. So what I think needs to change is a lot more than the fans and the negativity. When there is reason to be negative people will be negative, that's human nature and at the end of the day the only people who can change that is the manager, the board and the players as the second they start performing the fans will naturally get behind them more.
