Lee Johnson

I was just talking to Lee Johnson in John Anthony's. He said the DM is a really good gaffer, and has told him, he still has a chance at City, and that he will have to earn his stripes if he wants to play. Fair comment I thought, and good luck to him.

Does John Anthony do kids sizes?

All joking aside, he's never getting a game in that midfield, good luck to him, personally I'd like to see him off the wage book in January.

Got to admit, I didn't realise actually how small he really is, my 10 year old was nearly has big as him. Nice bloke to talk to, and was happy to talk to me.

Actually through all of the trials tribulations and abuse he has received from many on here, he has never complained, never responded and has always acted with dignity.

I totally agree, I have never once been one of the ones who have abused him, always tried to give him encouragement.

He is a real pro. If some of the more gifted players we have had shared his attitude they would have made more of their talent. I admire his stoicism in the face of the appalling abuse he has had. I doubt he will be here next season but I wish him well.

Absolutely, the model professional and an intelligent man to boot.

I can't help but think that he would have been appreciated a whole lot more if he had just been another player.

Gavin, Shelton, Rennie, Smith

Too true. The best midfield I saw, and this was for a 5 game period under Wilson was

Tinnion clist burnell doherty Murray.

Yes, burnell. For a short 5 game period this 5 man midfield ripped the opposition apart. Hulbert would come on to replace clist. The passing and movement for this short period when all 5 of them were at the top of their game was a joy to behold. Shame it never lasted, but that was the last time I really enjoyed watching us play at the gate.
